Abstract: The disclosure relates to forming methods, systems, apparatuses and resulting displays that represent improvements in various key areas. The disclosed methods, systems and apparatuses can include a backing configured to support the glass substrate. In one embodiment, the backing can comprise a plurality of linkages. The one or more of the plurality of linkages are selectively moveable to interface with and correspond to a radius of curvature of the curved portion of the glass substrate However, other embodiments contemplate segments, mesh or other construction for the backing.

Abstract: A method of dispensing quantum dot containing material in a well, the method comprising dispensing quantum dot material in a well using an ink jet, wherein the ink jet is operated with an Ohnesorge (Oh) number between 0.1 and 1 and with a Weber number of between 4 and 501.6*Oh0.4. Other methods include dispensing quantum dot containing material in a well, the method comprising dispensing quantum dot material in a well using an ink jet, immobilizing the dispensed quantum dot material by drying or curing, repeating these steps an integer N number of times until a predetermined thickness is obtained.
