Abstract: A battery cell includes: a housing, an electrode assembly, a first insulator, a support assembly, and a second insulator. The housing forms an accommodation cavity. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the accommodation cavity. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate. The first electrode plate and the second electrode plate are stacked along a first direction. The first insulator includes a first insulation portion. The first insulation portion is disposed on one side of the electrode assembly and parallel to the first direction. The first insulation portion includes a first channel that runs through the first insulation portion.

The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing. The sealing member includes a main body portion, a transition portion surrounding an outer side of the main body portion, and a connecting portion surrounding an outer side of the transition portion. The connecting portion is located on a side of the housing back away from the electrode assembly, at least part of the main body portion protrudes from a first surface of the connecting portion facing the housing and is accommodated in the electrolyte injection hole, and the connecting portion is connected to the housing to seal the electrolyte injection hole.
