    摘要: A battery and an electrical device are provided. The battery comprises: a battery cell, a first wall of the battery cell being provided with a first pressure relief mechanism; a thermal management component for regulating the temperature of the battery cell, wherein the thermal management component is attached to a second wall of the battery cell, the second wall being different from the first wall and the area of the second wall being greater than or equal to that of the first wall; and a discharge pathway configured to be capable of getting in communication with the interior of the battery cell via the first pressure relief mechanism when the first pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that emissions of the battery cell are discharged to the discharge pathway. The battery and the electrical device of embodiments of the present application can improve the safety of the battery.

    摘要: Embodiments of this application provide an explosion-proof valve, a battery pack, and an apparatus. The explosion-proof valve includes a flame arresting member and an air permeable membrane. The flame arresting member is configured to connect to a housing of a battery pack, the air permeable membrane is fastened to the flame arresting member, and the battery pack is capable of exchanging gas with the outside through the flame arresting member and the air permeable membrane in sequence. During use of the explosion-proof valve of this application in the battery pack of this application, when thermal runaway occurs inside the housing of the battery pack, pressure inside the housing is suddenly increased, and as a result, the battery pack releases the pressure through the explosion-proof valve, and high-temperature runaway gas impacts and melts the air permeable membrane, forming a smooth air flow channel.

    摘要: A power battery cap structure and a power battery are provided in the present invention. The power battery cap structure includes a first terminal, a second terminal and a cap assembly; both the first terminal and the second terminal are provided on the cap assembly, and the second terminal is electrically insulated from the cap assembly. The power battery cap structure further includes a resistance attached to the first terminal and electrically connected the first terminal with the cap assembly. The cap assembly includes a cap sheet, a first short circuit part and a second short circuit part; the first short circuit part and the second short circuit part are attached to the cap sheet and configured to act upwards when pressure inside the power battery increases so that the first terminal and the second terminal are electrically connected to form a protection loop; and the first short circuit part and the resistance are connected in parallel when the protection loop is formed. With the technical solution of the present invention, a separate protection loop can be formed in a power battery respectively in the cases of overcharge and nailing abuses, thereby efficiently protecting the power battery.

The shell component includes a non-fragile region and a fragile region formed in one piece. A groove portion is disposed on the shell component. The fragile region is configured to be broken when the battery cell is relieved of an internal pressure. A hardness of the fragile region is H1, and a hardness of the non-fragile region is H2, satisfying: H1>H2. The hardness of the fragile region is greater than the hardness of the non-fragile region.

The pressure relief portion is configured to be opened with the first weakened portion as a boundary and flip toward one side where the second weakened portion is located when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold.
