Abstract:
The present invention concerns a method and a device for transmitting sensor data in a wireless network. The network is based on a shared transmission channel. Access to the shared transmission channel is scheduled by the master node. The slave node comprises an acquisition device producing said data. The method comprises on the slave node: obtaining a request for acquiring data from the master node; estimating the value of a time information representative of a delay for the acquisition device to acquire a block of data ready for transmission; sending a message to the master node comprising the estimated time information; receiving an authorization of transmission from the master node, said authorization of transmission being scheduled at a time depending on the estimated time information; and transmitting a block of data to the master node after said reception according to the received authorization. Accordingly, the communication channel is reserved at the right time allowing minimizing the bandwidth and the latency.
Abstract:
The invention comprises adjustment of back-off timers to provide consistency of timing in a group of collaborating nodes. The invention facilitates optimizing access to a wireless medium in a communication network accessible by a plurality of nodes, each node implementing a back-off counting based on carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance, the plurality of nodes comprising a collaborative group of nodes further implementing a back-off allocation scheme based on each node maintaining a list of expected back-off values of the other nodes of the collaborative group, the group further comprising a receiving node and an emitting node, reception of information from the emitting node being utilized by the receiving node to maintain consistency of timing through adjustment of back-off values.
Abstract:
To easy the triggering by an AP MLD of uplink communications of low latency streams from non-AP MLD, the invention proposes that a local traffic stream be identified using a Stream Classification Service, SCS. The local SCS traffic stream is mapped onto a target TID which was previously mapped with an impacted UP. The local SCS stream is preferably assigned to an alternate queue of an AC. Said impacted UP is also mapped onto a fallback TID, corresponding to the primary queue of the same AC. The SCS stream is advertised to the AP using a SCS Request frame. Conventional fields can be used. A trigger frame from an affiliated AP of the AP MLD may then provide resource units to an affiliated non-AP station dedicated to the target TID, hence specific to the low latency SCS stream.
Abstract:
A method of controlling data transmission from a transmitting unit to a receiving unit through an asynchronous serial link is provided. The method is performed by a controlling unit and includes the steps of sequentially receiving data and synchronization messages are sequentially received from the transmitting unit; sequentially parsing the messages received; and when a message parsed is a synchronization message, blocking relaying to the receiving unit, of the data messages following said synchronization message, until an event associated with the synchronization message occurs.
