Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure disclose a method, apparatus, device and storage medium for displaying a session message, and relate to the technical field of Internet. The method comprises: determining, in a group session interface, a target session message with message content containing media content; determining a media type corresponding to the media content and determining a target display mode for the target session message according to the media type, wherein the media type is determined based on at least one of a poster of the media content or a sender of the target session message; and displaying the target session message in the target display mode.
