Abstract: A screen mirroring device discovery method is applied to a terminal device, and comprises: receiving an device discovery instruction; in response to the device discovery instruction, generating an device discovery request carrying device information of the terminal device, and sending the device discovery request to a server, wherein the device discovery request is used for requesting the server to determine, on the basis of the device information of the terminal device, all candidate screen mirroring devices located in the same local area network as the terminal device, and the device information comprises at least one of position information and network information; receiving local area network communication address information of each candidate screen mirroring device returned by the server; and determining a target screen mirroring device from among all the candidate screen mirroring devices according to the local area network communication address information of each candidate screen mirroring device.
