Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus for controlling traffic. A method may include: acquiring node identifiers of a plurality of traffic control nodes in a distributed system and a resource identifier of at least one kind of resource controlled by the distributed system; determining, according to the identifiers and at least one resource identifier, at least one traffic control node for controlling the at least one kind of resource in the distributed system being a resource control node; acquiring a configuration quota of the at least one kind of resource; and sending at least one configuration quota to a resource control node controlling a corresponding resource, for the resource control node to determine control quotas for the traffic control nodes in the distributed system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for processing a request. A specific embodiment of the method includes: receiving a request; determining a type of the request or an object name indicated by the request; acquiring, after determining that a current time is after a validity deadline of locally stored first request control information, the number of control servers in a preset control server set; determining, from the control server set, a target control server based on the acquired number and any one of: the type of the request, the object name indicated by the request; and forwarding the request to the target control server.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for updating a digital certificate. A specific embodiment of the method includes: receiving digital certificate data, the digital certificate data including a number of times of forwarding and a first forwarding moment; determining whether the following conditions are satisfied: the number of times of the forwarding being less than a preset threshold, or a time length between a current moment and the first forwarding moment being less than a preset time length; and increasing, in response to determining at least one of the conditions being satisfied, the number of times of the forwarding by a preset number, and forwarding the digital certificate data to another proxy server.
