Abstract:
The application relates to a needle protection assembly (1) comprising:—a supporting element (18) and a needle shield (8),—one locking element (20) located within said needle protection assembly (1) and not accessible to the user,—urging means (24) for displacing said needle shield (8),—a peg (19) located on said supporting element (18) or on said needle shield (8), and a cam (9) located on said needle shield (8) or on said supporting element (18), and—said locking element (20) is not formed by said peg (19) and cam (9). The respective longitudinal axis of the needle shield (8) and of the locking element (20) are merged when said needle shield (8) is in its before use or in use positions, and they form an angle (a) when said needle shield (8) is in its after use position.
Abstract:
A medical injection device for supporting a medical container comprising a barrel and a needle tip extending from a distal end of the barrel, comprising: safety shield, first ring configured to be coupled to the medical container and configured to be biased in a proximal direction relative to the safety shield from an injection position in which a needle tip extends out of the safety shield to a safety position in which the needle tip is covered by the safety shield, and second ring rotatably movable relative to the first ring between locking position wherein the second ring maintains the first ring in the injection position and an unlocking position wherein the second ring releases the first ring thereby allowing the first ring to be urged into the safety position.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an assisted injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container. The injection device includes a main body adapted to receive a medical container in a fixed position relative to the main body. The main body includes an inner wall provided with a toothed surface. The injection device includes a piston. The piston includes a first part and a second part. The first part includes an inner spring-loaded piston rod, and an outer piston body extending coaxially around the inner spring-loaded piston rod. The second part is arranged between the inner spring-loaded piston rod and the outer piston body, and is provided with a pressing member. The injection device includes an actuator connected to the second part of the piston. The actuator is adapted to selectively move the second part between the proximal first position portion and the distal second position.
Abstract:
A medical injection device for supporting a medical container, the medical container comprising a barrel adapted to contain a composition and a needle extending from a distal end of the barrel, wherein the medical injection device comprises: a body configured to receive at least a part of the medical container, a plunger axially movable relative to the body along an axis of the body, needle cover movable relative to the body along the axis, the needle cover being configured to move successively between storage position wherein the needle cover covers the needle, an injection position wherein the needle cover exposes at least partially the needle, a safety position wherein the needle cover covers the needle and is prevented from moving back to the injection position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an adaptor for coupling with a medical container closed by a septum, the adaptor comprising:—a gripping member (20) for securing the adaptor to the medical container,—a needle access port intended to face an outer surface of the septum,—a pierceable elastomeric piece (50) having a longitudinal axis located into the needle access port, said pierceable elastomeric piece having a recess (51) with a proximal opening and an outer wall (54) in contact with the needle access port,—attaching means for maintaining the elastomeric piece into the needle access port. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising such an adaptor and a medical container, and to the use of such an adaptor for preventing the contamination inside a medical container closed by a septum.
Abstract:
An assembly having an adaptor for coupling with a medical container having a septum. The adaptor includes a gripping member for securing the adaptor to the medical container; a pierceable elastomeric piece which, in an inactive state of the adaptor, does not contact the septum outer surface with pressure, and, in an active state of the adaptor, contacts the septum outer surface with pressure; a blister comprising a shell and a removable closing membrane forming a housing receiving the adaptor; a retaining system having a first retaining portion on the adaptor and a second retaining portion on the shell, the first retaining portion adapted, in a locked position of the retaining system, to cooperate with the second retaining portion, when the adaptor is not in the active state; and an unlocking portion adapted to transition the retaining system to an unlocked position, when the adaptor is in the active state.

Abstract:
A protective assembly includes a body for receiving the syringe; and a coupling device inside the body, rigidly connected to the barrel as regards to axial movement relative to the body. The coupling device includes an attaching element which can be either in an engaged state to axially fix the coupling device and the plunger rod, or in a release state in which the coupling device and the plunger rod are axially free relative to one another. The coupling device is axially movable in the body from a storage position to an injection position in which the needle extends beyond the body, and in which the attaching element can move towards the release state. The coupling device is axially movable in the body from the injection position towards a safety position, in which the needle is covered by the body.
