摘要： A supporting program causes a computer of an information processing device to display a setting screen for receiving an input operation of print settings, and acquire sheet information representing information of a sheet a printer uses for printing. Further, when there is a print instruction output from an application program and instructing a general-use printing program implemented, in advance, in an operating system, to perform printing of an image, the computer performs acquiring sheet information included in the print settings and determining suitability of a sheet by comparing the sheet information acquired from the printer with the sheet information of the print settings. The computer displays a warning message for a user when it is determined that the sheet is unsuitable.

摘要： In response to a print instruction instructing a printer to print an image being made with respect to a general-use printing program implemented in an operating system of the information processing device, the information processing device uses a supporting program to obtain an image size of print data subject to printing based on the number of vertical dots, the number of horizontal dots, and print resolution of the print data. Further, the information processing device obtains second size information indicating a sheet size included in a print setting and determines, by comparing the image size the sheet size, whether the sheet size conforms to the image size. When determining that the sheet size does not conform to the image size, the information processing device performs a warning process of displaying a warning message using a user interface.

摘要： In an information processing device, a support program supports a printer, and a printing program is built in an operating system. The support program causes the information processing device to perform: in a case that a print instruction to execute printing by using the built-in printing program is issued, at least one of a command outputting process and an outputting instruction process. The command outputting process outputs a preceding operation command to the printer before starting transmitting print execution data to the printer. The preceding operation command commands the printer to execute a preceding operation prior to starting printing. The printer having a function to execute the preceding operation specified in the preceding operation command. The outputting instruction process instructs a command transmission program to output the preceding operation command while the outputting instruction process designates the printer as an outputting destination.

摘要： In an information processing apparatus, a processor determines, on the basis of a setting value, at least one image process to be performed on the first scan data. The processor performs a clipping process on first scan data to generate second scan data including original scan data and not including outer scan data. The processor performs an edge correction process on the second scan data to generate third scan data by correcting edge data of the original scan data. The processor performs a characteristic acquisition process on the third scan data to acquire characteristic information indicating a characteristic of the third scan data. The processor performs a specific process on the second scan data by using the characteristic information in a case where both the clipping process and the characteristic acquisition process are determined to be performed and the edge correction process is determined not to be performed.
