摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing of solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or catalyst carrier comprising forming a solution of the catalyst or a catalyst carrier in a solvent, subjecting the solution into an atomization by spraying the solution via a capillary vibrating spray nozzle with a capillary orifice having a diameter of 5 to 100 μm generating a laminar jet of liquid, which disintegrates into liquid droplets entering into the spray-dryer, transforming the droplets with aid of a gas to solid particulate catalyst or carrier in the spray-dryer and recovering the solid particulate olefin polymerisation catalyst or carrier having particle size distribution defined by a volumetric SPAN of 0.7 or less. The invention further relates to the catalyst produced by the methods, and use thereof in olefin polymerisation process.

摘要: The invention provides a process for the preparation of a multimodal high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a density of greater than 950 kg/m, a Mz of at least 1000 kDa and a melt flow rate (MFR5) of 0.01 to 4.0 g/10 min, said process comprising: (i) polymerising ethylene in a first polymerisation stage in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst to prepare a first ethylene homopolymer; (ii) polymerising ethylene in a second polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said first ethylene homopolymer to prepare an ethylene homopolymer mixture comprising said first ethylene homopolymer and a second ethylene homopolymer; and (iii) polymerising ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin comonomer in a third polymerisation stage in the presence of said catalyst and said ethylene homopolymer mixture to prepare said multimodal HDPE; wherein the split for the third polymerisation stage is at least 50%.

摘要: A polyethylene composition comprising a base resin is disclosed herein. The base resin includes an ethylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A1), and an ethylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A2). Fraction (A1) has a lower weight average molecular weight than fraction (A2). The base resin has a melt flow rate MFR21 of equal to or less than 8.0 g/10 min and a density of 930 to 950 kg/m3. The polyethylene composition has a melt flow rate MFR5 of 0.01 to 0.3 g/10 min, a flow rate ratio FRR21/5 of equal to or more than 20 and a ratio of the weight average molecular weight and the number average molecular weight (Mw/Mn) of equal to or less than 30. Also the polyethylene composition has a tensile modulus of less than 1000 MPa. Also a process for the production of a polyethylene composition comprising polyethylene base resin is disclosed herein.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a process for polymerising olefins in multi stage polymerisation process configuration, the process comprising a) polymerising in a first polymerisation step first olefin monomer, optionally in the presence of at least one other alpha olefin comonomer, in the presence of a metallocene polymerisation catalyst so as to form a first polymer component (A); and b) transferring the first polymer component (A) into a separation unit to remove low molecule penetrants and to obtain separated solid polyolefin particles of the first polymer component (A*) and c) polymerising in in gas phase in a second polymerisation step second olefin monomer, optionally in the presence of at least one other alpha olefin comonomer in the presence of the separated solid polyolefin particles (A*) of step b), so as to form a second polymer component (B). The disclosure further relates to a method for improving performance of a metallocene polymerisation catalyst in a multi-stage olefin polymerisation, wherein a first polymer component (A) produced in a first polymerisation step is transferred into a separation unit to remove low molecule penetrants and to obtain separated solid polyolefin particles of the first polymer component (A*) prior to transferring the obtained separated solid polyolefin particles of the first polymer component (A*) to a further polymerisation step.

摘要: A process for producing copolymers of ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in the presence of a solid Ziegler-Natta catalyst comprising of magnesium, titanium, halogen and an internal organic compound, the copolymer having a density of from 906 to 937 kg/m3 and a melt flow rate MFR21 measured at 190° C. under 21.6 kg load of from 3 to 150 g/10 min. The process includes the steps of (A) homopolymerising ethylene or copolymerising ethylene and a first alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in a first polymerisation stage in the presence of the polymerisation catalyst, hydrogen and optionally the first alpha-olefin; (B) copolymerising ethylene and a second alpha-olefin having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms in a second polymerisation stage in the presence of the first homo- or copolymer of ethylene and the Ziegler-Natta catalyst; and (C) recovering the polymer mixture.
