Abstract: Disclosed are a display substrate, a display device, and a manufacturing method. The display substrate includes: a base substrate; gate lines and data lines which define a plurality of sub-pixel regions; sub-pixel electrodes located in the plurality of sub-pixel regions on the base substrate; driving transistors disposed on the base substrate and electrically connected with the data lines, the gate lines and the sub-pixel electrodes; and a bar structure on a side of a layer where the sub-pixel electrodes are located away from the base substrate. The bar structure has an opening region for accommodating charged particles in each sub-pixel region, an orthographic projection of the bar structure at least partially covers orthographic projections of the gate lines and the data lines on the base substrate, and a ratio of an area of a sub-pixel electrode to an area of a sub-pixel region is greater than 70%.

Abstract: A display substrate, a display panel and a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device are disclosed. The display substrate includes: a first substrate; a pixel defining layer on the first substrate and having pixel openings; and light emitting devices in one-to-one correspondence with the pixel openings. The light emitting device includes a first electrode and a light emitting function layer, the first electrode is between the pixel defining layer and the first substrate, and includes a main body portion exposed by the pixel opening; the light emitting function layer is in the pixel opening and on a side of the main body portion away from the first substrate, at least a part of the light emitting function layer directly faces the main body portion, and the part of the light emitting function layer directly facing the main body portion is a curved film layer protruding towards the first substrate.

The drive units are located in the sub-pixel area and electrically connected with the first signal lines (21) and the second signal lines (22), and are configured to control the display patterns of the electronic paper film corresponding to the sub-pixel areas.
