Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for controlling an audio-video conference, a device and a storage medium. The method may include: establishing, according to a conference preparation request of an inviting party, a communication connection between a target basic audio-video device of an associated conference room and the inviting party, and enabling the inviting party to select at least one invited party; constructing a conference join request according to an invited party included in a conference initiation request of the inviting party, and sending the conference join request to the invited party; and establishing, based on a confirmation response fed back for the conference join request by the invited party, a communication connection between the invited party and the target basic audio-video device.
