Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for processing promotional information, an apparatus and a non-volatile computer storage medium. In one aspect, in embodiments of the present disclosure, it is feasible to obtain video information to be played; thereby obtain position information of promotional information included by the video information in the video information; and thereby, according to the position information of promotional information in the video information, not display the promotional information upon playing the video information. Hence, technical solutions provided embodiments of the present disclosure may not display the promotional information in the played video information, and thereby may eliminate adverse influence exerted by inserting promotional information upon playing the video information in the prior art.
