    Abstract: A return device includes a return wheel unit adapted to be mounted to a gun body of a fastening tool, and including a return wheel that is movable between a free position, where the return wheel is not in contact with an impact member of the fastening tool, and a return position, where the impact member is at a strike position and is not contact with a rotatable flywheel of the fastening tool, and where the return wheel is in contact with the flywheel and the impact member such that, when the flywheel rotates in a first rotational direction, the return wheel is driven by the flywheel to rotate in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction, and moves the impact member from the strike position to a standby position.

    Abstract: An electric power tool includes a battery, a first switch connected to the battery, a driving unit, a sensing unit, a primary controller and a secondary controller. The driving unit includes a motor, a second switch connected to the motor and the first switch, and a switch-control circuit connected to the second switch. The sensing unit outputs a detection result to the primary and secondary controllers. The primary controller disables the driving unit when it is determined that there is a malfunction based on the detection result. The secondary controller controls the first switch to operate in a non-conducting state to cut off electricity supplied from the battery to the second switch when it is determined that there is a malfunction based on the detection result. When the first switch operates in a conducting state, the second switch provides the electricity to the motor under control of the switch-control circuit.

    Abstract: An electric power tool includes a motor, a lifter, a firing pin, an electromagnet, a driving circuit, a latch, and a controller. The lifter is driven by the motor to drive the firing pin to perform a firing action. The driving circuit provides electric current to excite the electromagnet. The latch is moved by the electromagnet from a blocking position where the latch blocks the firing pin to move in a firing direction to a non-blocking position where the latch does not block the firing pin when the electromagnet is in an excited state. The controller, during an excitement period, controls the driving circuit to provide constant current for a first time period to excite the electromagnet to the excited state, and provide pulsating current for a second time period to keep the electromagnet in the excited state.

    Abstract: A method is provided for an electrically-driven tool to detect battery decline. The electrically-driven tool includes a battery, a controller and a kinetic device. The controller pre-stores a dataset of energy provision time including a data piece of energy provision time that signifies a predetermined time length presumed to be required by the battery to provide a predetermined amount of electric energy. The controller induces provision of the predetermined amount of electric energy to the kinetic device to have the kinetic device perform a predetermined stroke with a predetermined load, times a stroke time period taken by the predetermined stroke, and determines whether the stroke time period is greater than the predetermined time length. The controller outputs a battery abnormality signal when the stroke time period is greater than the predetermined time length.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a nail-striking operation of an electric nail gun is proposed. The electric nail gun includes a control module and at least one switch. The at least one switch outputs a first switch signal that has a first voltage and a second switch signal that has a second voltage when triggered. The control module set a flag that corresponds to the at least one switch to a predetermined state upon determining that a striking condition is met. The striking condition includes that, for each of the at least one switch, the first switch signal has the first voltage and the second switch signal has the second voltage.

    Abstract: Provided is a control system and method for a power-driven nail gun, which includes a battery, a motor, a flywheel rotating along with the motor, an impacting member receiving kinetic energy of the flywheel and a nail channel providing a channel for a nail to move along therewith when hit by the impacting member. The method includes utilizing a microcontroller to provide a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal for a driving circuit to drive the motor based on the PWM signal; and in response to reaching a target rotation speed by the motor, utilizing the microcontroller to output a corresponding PWM duty to the driving circuit based on the voltage of the battery, to make the motor maintain at the target rotation speed. The nails obtain stable and consistent kinetic energy and stability of nail firing is effectively improved.
