Abstract: A vertical adjustment system for an aircraft seat is disclosed. The vertical adjustment system may include an actuation assembly. Abstract: A divan for installation in an aircraft cabin in relation to an emergency exit. In embodiments, the divan includes at least two seats wherein one seat is positioned directly in front of the emergency exit and includes a lower frame assembly and an upper frame assembly. The upper frame assembly includes a seat pan subassembly configured to raise and lower relative to the lower frame assembly, and a backrest subassembly rotatably attached to the seat pan subassembly. In use, the backrest rotates to a position overlaying the seat pan subassembly and the seat pan subassembly lowers toward the floor to achieve a step-up height of not more than 20 inches to comply with the step-up height requirements for a Type-III emergency exit.

Abstract: A quick release system for an interior apparatus is disclosed. The system may include a release assembly including a release handle and release cables. The release handle may pull the release cables when a force is applied. The system may include a latch assembly including latches coupled to the release cables. The latches may include a latch hook positioned in an open position or a closed position. Upon applying the force to the release handle, the latch hook may release the apparatus to cause the apparatus to rotate about an axis. The system may include a locking assembly including a lever and a lock plate. Upon applying the force to the release handle, the lock plate may translate between the locked position and the unlocked position to disengage the lock plate from the tracks to cause the apparatus to translate along the tracks.

Abstract: A swinging seatpan assembly for a passenger seat includes a fixed seatpan frame attached to the seat structure and a mobile seatpan frame pivotably attached to the fixed seatpan frame by rollers configured for translation through slots in the fixed seatpan frame. Passengers occupying middle and aisle seats of a multiple-seat block or assembly may engage their respective swinging seatpan assemblies to allow an occupant of a window seat to enter/egress their seat without the middle-seat and aisle-seat passengers leaving their seats for the aisle. For example, the passenger may engage a release to unlock and push the mobile seatpan frame so that the mobile seatpan frame pivots rearward/downward, temporarily increasing the seat pitch distance and allowing the window-seat passenger increased egress space.
