Abstract:
Methods and systems for presenting information regarding multiple categories of content are provided. In addition, methods and systems that suggest activities by a user in relation to content and determined affinity for content in relation to user contacts are provided. A user interface application is provided that operates to display status and/or historical information regarding content, suggested activities, and suggested contacts. The user can interact with the interface to access detailed information and to act on suggestions. In addition the user can interact with the interface to share content to other users, including users participating in real time communication sessions.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing avatars in a virtual reality environment (VRE) are provided. More particularly, different avatars can be defined for application to different VREs. A particular avatar can be selected or modified for application to a VRE in view of the context of the VRE, including but not limited to the avatar format required by the VRE, the topic of a meeting hosted by the VRE, the identity or other characteristics of other meeting participants, presence information, or the like.
Abstract:
Methods, devices, and systems are provided for converting messages received from different sources into a universal file management system format managed by a central server. Each message may be sent from a sender to at least one recipient in a communication system. Upon receiving the messages, the central server converts each message into at least one folder and file. The files or folders can be stored in a secure central repository or memory. The secure central repository may include directory-sync servicing to virtually a user communication device other than the server. Files or folders may be marked as sensitive and restricted from access, copying, or other distribution. Sensitive files and folders, representing messages received can be restricted to viewing via a real-time communication application running on a user's communication device and portal connection to the secure central repository.

Abstract:
When SIP INVITE is received from a first communication device at a Network Border Element (NBE), the NBE sends the SIP INVITE to a communication manger to establish a SIP communication session with a second communication device. As part of the call setup process, a SIP 200 OK message is received by the NBE, thus setting up a full SIP communication session between the NBE and the second communication device. The SIP 200 OK message includes a parameter that indicates the SIP communication session is initially going to be established between the first communication device and a non-human entity. Based on the parameter in the SIP 200 OK message, the NBE sends a SIP Provisional Response message to the first communication device. This sets up a provisional SIP communication session between the NBE and the first communication device in order to comply with the jurisdictional requirements of a specific country.

Abstract:
Methods, devices, and systems are provided that enable a user to discreetly provide input to a computer system via a handheld input control device. The input control device is physically discrete, or separate, from the computer and is configured to provide input based on one or more of an orientation of the device and a disposition of a user's digits on the device. The device can continually and dynamically reconfigure itself based on a recognizable pattern, or locational arrangement, associated with a user's hand. For example, the device can determine where the features of a user's hand are, on or about the device, at any point in time. The device can then map, or remap, various input sensors to match the locational arrangement of features in an ad hoc manner when the device is grasped.
