Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to report capabilities to as network. The UE transmits UE capabilities for channel state information (CSI) reporting to a base station, wherein the UE capabilities include a CSI-RS-resource-indicator(CRI)-rank indicator(RI)-channel quality indicator (CQI) reporting capability and a further CRI-RI-CQI reporting capability and receives a CSI report configuration from the base station, wherein the CSI report configuration is based on the UE capabilities.
