    摘要: The present invention relates to a gasket locating arrangement for a flow module, preferably plate reactor, comprising a gasket, locating means, a channel in a channel plate, a barrier plate, wherein the gasket consists of a sheet of soft gasket material, and said sheet has a cut through pattern corresponding to the channel in the channel plate. The present invention relates further to a use of the gasket location arrangement and also to a flow module, preferably a plate reactor, which comprises one or more gasket locating arrangements according to the invention, and one or more heat transfer means for heat transfer to and from the channel, and wherein each channel plate has one or more inlets, preferably two inlets, to the channel, and one outlet from the channel.

The flow-plate includes two parts, each part includes a channel side and a utility side, and the two parts of the flow plate are counter parts and complementing each other. When the flow-plate is connected the two parts form a channel between the two counter parting channel sides. The channel includes curved obstacles, sidewalls and channel floors. The curved obstacles are lined up in parallel rows separated by sidewalls, the backside of the rows of curved obstacles have deep machined grooves making the obstacles hollow for heat transfer fluids on utility sides. A flow-plate section and a flow module are also disclosed.

    摘要: A method for separating a cell culture mixture utilizes a centrifugal separator including a stationary frame, a rotatable assembly and a drive unit for rotating the rotatable assembly relative the frame around a vertical axis of rotation. The rotatable assembly includes a rotor casing enclosing a separation space in which a stack of separation discs is arranged to rotate around an axis of rotation. The rotor casing includes a mechanically hermetically sealed inlet for supply of the cell culture mixture to the separation space and first and second mechanically hermetically sealed liquid outlets. The second mechanically hermetically sealed outlet is arranged at an axial end of the rotor casing and arranged so that the separated cell phase is discharged at the rotational axis.

    摘要: A centrifugal separator includes a frame and a drive member configured to rotate a rotating part in relation to the frame around an axis of rotation. The rotating part includes a centrifuge rotor enclosing a separation space. The centrifuge rotor is adjoined to a hollow spindle supported by the frame by at least one bearing device. The interior of the hollow spindle is in thermal contact with the at least one bearing device and further includes a thermal transfer medium inlet for supplying a thermal transfer medium to said interior and a thermal transfer medium outlet for withdrawing the thermal transfer medium from the interior; and directing mechanism for directing thermal transfer medium from the thermal transfer medium inlet to the thermal transfer medium outlet in a first direction along the length of the spindle and in a second direction along the length of the spindle. The second direction is opposite the first direction. The first or second direction is along the inner wall of the interior of the spindle, the inner wall being arranged to rotate during operation of the centrifugal separator.
