Abstract: The invention concerns a Venturi device (1) for delivering oxygen or an air/oxygen mixture comprising a main body (10) with an inner compartment (11) and a Venturi nozzle (20); a rear member (30) with an oxygen inlet (31), air inlets (32) and a mixing chamber (33) for mixing oxygen and air. The rear member (30) is mobile with respect to the main body (10) between a closed position wherein the rear member (30) provides oxygen to the Venturi nozzle (20), and an open position wherein the rear member (30) provides an air/oxygen mixture to the Venturi nozzle (20). The rear member (30) is mobile at least in rotation with respect to the main body (10) for allowing a user to manually select a desired open or closed position, preferably according to a helicoidal motion. Installation (100) for providing oxygen or an air/oxygen mixture to a patient comprising a gas reservoir (101), a flexible hose (103), a respiratory interface (104), a connecting hollow body (102), and such a Venturi device (1).

Abstract: The invention concerns a manual resuscitation bag having a first PEP exhaust valve (4) arranged in a first conduit element (3) and fluidly communicating with the ambient atmosphere for venting gas to the atmosphere when the gas pressure, into the first conduit element (3), exceeds a given pressure threshold. The first PEP exhaust valve (4) has a valve body (5) and a calibration mechanism (6, 12; 7-10) for setting a desired pressure threshold. The calibration mechanism (6, 12; 7-10) is a rotatable member (6), actuatable by a user, arranged on the valve body (5) and cooperating with a pressure adjusting device (7-10) arranged into the valve body (5), and a support member (12) comprising several markings (11) corresponding to several settable pressure values, arranged between the rotatable member (6) and the valve body (5).

Abstract: Described is a manual artificial respiration bag (1) having a deformable bag (2) with a gas inlet (4), a gas outlet (3) and an inner volume (5); a downstream conduct element (100) fluidly connected to the gas outlet (3) and comprising an exhaust valve (110) with an exhaust port (111); a downstream one-way valve (50, 55) arranged into the downstream conduct element (100) that is configured for allowing a flow of respiratory gas to pass through said downstream one-way valve (50, 55) only toward the exhaust valve (110). The manual artificial respiration bag (1) further has a mobile port-closure (124), actuatable by a user, cooperating with the exhaust port (111) of the exhaust valve (110) for at least partially closing said exhaust port (111) thereby controlling the flow of respiratory gas passing through the exhaust port (111) of the exhaust valve (110).
