    摘要: An electrical connector assembly including an electrical connector and a circuit board is provided. The electrical connector has a metallic plate and a plurality of terminals. The metallic plate separates the terminals into two different areas. The metallic plate has a first lateral surface. The circuit board is assembled to the electrical connector. The circuit board has a plurality of pads, a second lateral surface, and top and bottom surfaces opposite to each other. The pads are disposed on the top and bottom surfaces respectively. The second lateral surface is boarded between the top and bottom surfaces. The circuit board further includes at least one grounding circuit exposed from the second lateral surface and facing toward the first lateral surface. The metallic plate is electrically conducted to the grounding circuit by the first lateral surface when the circuit board is assembled to the electrical connector.

    摘要: An electrical receptacle connector is enclosed by an outer shell. The outer shell includes a rear covering plate, side plates, and top plates. Two turned portions are at two sides of the rear covering plate. The side plates outwardly extend from the turned portions, respectively. Each of the top plates is bent from a top portion of the corresponding side plate and extends away from the corresponding side plate. The rear covering plate and the side plates are integrally formed as a one-piece member. Hence, the steps of manufacturing process for the connector can be reduced, the production of defective products can be reduced, and the structural strength of the connector can be improved. Moreover, numbers of holes or cracks between the rear covering plate and each of the side plates can be reduced, thereby reducing the EMI issue.

    摘要: An electrical plug connector includes a first terminal module and a second terminal module disposed inside a metallic shell. The first terminal module includes a first insulated member and first plug terminals, a first combining portion, and a first conductive strip assembled on the first insulated member. The second terminal module includes a second insulated member and second plug terminals, a second combining portion, and a second conductive strip assembled on the second insulated member. The first terminal module and the second terminal module are formed by different plastic injection molds, and therefore the assembly of the first plug terminals, the second plug terminals, the first combining portion, and the second combining portion on the first insulated member and the second insulated member becomes easy. No additional Mylar film is utilized because no terminal groove appears on the outer surface of the first insulated member and the second insulated member.

    摘要: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing received in a metallic shell, first and second terminal modules respectively above and below the insulated housing, and abutting plates (EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) plates). Each abutting plate (EMI plate) is between the metallic shell and the insulated housing. Each abutting plate (EMI plate) includes a main body and elastic arms outwardly extending from the main body. Each elastic arm includes a terminal contact portion and a shell contact portion. The terminal contact portion is extending toward a corresponding recessed hole of the insulated housing and contacts one or more first ground terminal of the first terminal module or one or more second ground terminal of the second terminal module. The shell contact portion contacts an inner surface of the metallic shell. Therefore, the high frequency features of the connector can be optimized effectively and resonant problems of the connector can be improved.

    摘要: An electrical plug connector includes an insulating body, terminals, and a shielding spring member. The terminals include multiple high-speed terminals. Each of the terminals has a docking end to connect to another electrical receptacle connector along an insertion direction. The shielding spring member, partially stacked on the insulating body, includes a sheet-like body, a hollow portion, two first shielding spring fingers, and a second shielding spring finger connected sequentially to form the hollow portion that covers the docking ends of the terminals. The docking end of each of the high-speed terminals relative to an edge between the first shielding spring finger and the hollow portion has a first distance. Each of the docking ends of the remaining terminals relative to an edge between the second shielding spring finger and the hollow portion has a second distance. The first distance is greater than the second distance.

    摘要: A shielding member includes a frame body and an outer cover. Two sides of a first end of the frame body respectively include a first shaft portion. Two sides of the frame body respectively include a first side plate. The frame body is covered by the outer cover. Two sides of a first end of the outer cover respectively include a second shaft portion, and each of the second shaft portions is pivotally connected to the corresponding first shaft portion. Two sides of the outer cover respectively include a second side plate, and each of the second side plates covers an outer side of the corresponding first side plate. Accordingly, the frame body and the outer cover are assembled to form a one-piece metallic shielding member. The structure of the shielding member is simple, the manufacturing for the shielding member is easy, and the cost for manufacturing the shielding member is reduced.
