Abstract:
A housing for receiving a flat panel display is disclosed, which can save time and cost for developing, assembling and disassembling the flat panel display and frames. The housing for receiving a flat panel display of the present invention includes: a front frame having a central opening,; a plurality of side frames to surround at least part of the edges of said flat panel display; a bottom frame to combine with said front frame, said side frames to form a space to locate said flat panel display; and optionally at least one stopping frame to prevent said flat panel display from releasing.

This invention relates to a reflecting device for flat panel displays, comprising a light source, a nonconductive base having a groove, and a reflector disposed on the inner surface of the groove of the nonconductive base to reflect rays of light coming from the light source to the exterior of the groove wherein the light source is located within the groove and the reflector is located between the nonconductive base and the light source. Also, a method for making the reflecting device for flat panel displays is disclosed.
Abstract:
A flat panel display or a backlight module for homogenizing the temperature distribution is disclosed. The backlight module utilizes a heat pipe to carry out the heat from the light source quickly and homogenize the distribution of temperature of the light source. A flat panel display includes such kind of backlight module is also discloed here.

A housing for receiving a flat panel display and/or a backlight module is disclosed, which includes: a front frame having a central window, wherein the inner edge of said frame defines an active area for said flat panel display; a bottom frame; a side frame locating between said front frame and said bottom frame to form a space and at least one opening; at least one separate plate locating on the inside surface of said side frame for separating said flat panel display and/or a backlight module; and a stopping frame having a reflector, a cavity, and a plurality of pores to prevent said flat panel display or a backlight module from sliding out of said space.

A housing for protecting a flat panel display and/or a backlight module is disclosed which has a rear blade, a front blade and a side blade wherein said side blade is integrated with and sandwiched between said front blades and said rear blades to form a frame having a cross-section in a shape of nullnull, and said frame is allowed to fold to surround the partial or the whole edge of said flat panel display and/or a backlight module.
