Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure include a system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method, and/or computer program product and/or combinations and/or sub-combinations thereof, for implementing multi-credential mapping mechanisms in wireless communication networks, such as a wireless local area network (WLAN). The multi-credential mapping mechanisms can use pointer schemes for communicating multiple credentials (e.g., Authentication and Key Managements (AKMs) and ciphers) in the wireless communication networks. The multi-credential mapping mechanisms can reduce congestion in the communication medium and improve the communications between an access point (AP) and stations (STAs).

Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for access point (AP) power save enhancements. AP power save enhancements reduce power consumption for APs including multi-link device (MLD) APs, mobile APs and mobile AP stations. Some embodiments include an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU)-Request to Send (RTS) power save feature, that allows an AP to be available while operating in a low power receive (LPR) state (e.g., low power mode) and transition to a full power mode to receive data using a bandwidth greater than 20 MHz. Some embodiments include a Target Wake Time (TWT) UL MU-RTS AP power enhancement feature that allows an AP to operate in the LPR during a TWT service period (SP). Some embodiments allow mobile devices (e.g., a smart phone) to operate in as an AP (e.g., a mobile AP, a mobile AP station) and reduce power consumption.

Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for access point (AP)-assisted AP transition. Using AP-assisted AP transitions, when the STA is associated with a first access point (AP) and is transitioning to a second AP, a station (STA) can transmit to the second AP a control signal including a first indication for sequence number (SN) maintenance. The STA can receive from the second AP responsive to the first indication for SN maintenance, a first downlink (DL) transmission including a next SN. The next SN can be a continuation of an SN sequence utilized by the first AP for one or more previous DL transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatuses for performing enhanced integrity protection techniques by an access point (AP) and non-AP are described. A station (STA) can receive, from an access point (AP), an integrity protection (IP) capability request and transmit an IP capability response to the AP. The STA can receive, from the AP, one or more downlink (DL) frames comprising at least one adjusted parameter field of a plurality of parameter fields. The STA can verify, based on at least one value of the adjusted parameter field or one or more parameter fields of the plurality of parameter fields, that the one or more DL frames have been correctly received from the AP.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for obfuscation in a privacy beacon. An example method includes the first device receiving, from a second communication device, a beacon frame comprising a medium access control (MAC) header and an encrypted beacon frame field, the MAC header comprising an obfuscated timing synchronization field (TSF). The first device can select a key for de-obfuscating the TSF based at least in part on information associated with the beacon frame. The first device can de-obfuscate the TSF based at least in part on the key. The first device can decrypt the encrypted beacon frame field of the beacon frame based at least in part on information associated with the de-obfuscated TSF.
