Abstract: A computer system displays a first user interface containing a selectable representation of content from a first application. An input that moves the selectable representation from within the first user interface to a respective location causes the content to be displayed in a second user interface of the first application if the respective location meets first criteria, where the selectable representation of the content is displayed at the respective location over a portion of a background outside the first user interface when a termination of the input is detected, or causes the content to be displayed in a third user interface if the respective location meets second criteria, where the selectable representation is displayed at the respective location over the third user interface that is displayed concurrently with the first user interface when the termination of the input is detected.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a notification that a person is at a particular location. A method can include accessing a first image of a first face of a first person, the first image captured by a first camera of the first device. The method can further include generating an image cropping comprising a first portion of the first face. The method can further include receiving, from a second device comprising a second camera, a second image comprising a second portion of a second face of a second person, the second camera having a viewable area comprising a particular location associated with the first device. The method can further include determining a score that corresponds to a level of similarity between a first set of characteristics associated with the first portion of the first face and a second set of characteristics associated with the second portion of the second face.

Abstract: While concurrently displaying a first application view and a second application view in a first concurrent-display configuration of multiple different concurrent-display configurations, a first input that includes movement is directed to the first application view and drags a representation of the first application view across the display. While the representation of the first application view is dragged over different portions of the display, different visual indications are displayed to indicate that an end of the first input will result in the first application view and the second application view being displayed in a respective one of the different concurrent-display configurations. In response to detecting the end of the first input, depending on over which portion of the display the first input ended, the first application view and the second application view are displayed in a corresponding concurrent-display configurations of the multiple concurrent-display configurations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content system. A media content provider includes storage for storing and serving video content to subscribers. The media content provider records and or otherwise stores video content from around the world. The system includes display devices configured to identify and tailor content to multiple individual users. Each user may have individual settings which provide for a customized viewing environment and experience. The system is configured to identify users of the system in order to tailor the content as appropriate. In addition, identification of users allows for the identification of the subscription content that corresponds to the user. Based upon identification of a user and corresponding subscription, the user's subscription content may be streamed to any location. In this manner, the users subscribed content may follow the user from home to a friend's house, or elsewhere.
