Abstract: A vehicle position estimation device according to an example of an embodiment includes a parking lot data acquisition unit that acquires parking lot data capable of identifying an absolute orientation and an absolute position of a road surface marking provided on a road surface of a parking lot, an image data acquisition unit that acquires image data obtained by an on-board camera that captures a situation around a vehicle, and a position estimation unit that calculates a relative orientation and a relative position of the road surface marking with respect to the vehicle on the image data by detecting road surface marking data related to the road surface marking from the image data, and that estimates an actual orientation and an actual position of the vehicle on the basis of the calculated relative orientation, the calculated relative position, and the parking lot data.
