Abstract:
A rack shaft support device includes: a rack shaft support member that is accommodated inside a retention hole formed in a housing so as to slide in an axial direction of the retention hole, and slidably supports a rack shaft; a sealing member fixed to an inlet port of the retention hole; an intermediate member that is interposed between the rack shaft support member and the sealing member; a torsion spring that couples the sealing member and the intermediate member; a cam mechanism that converts a rotational force of the intermediate member induced by untwisting of the torsion spring to a force by which the intermediate member pushes the rack shaft support member; an opposing portion that opposes a rear surface of the rack shaft support member; and an annular elastic member that is interposed between the rear surface of the rack shaft support member and the opposing portion.

Abstract:
The continuous heat treatment furnace of the present invention is provided with at least one drying and binder-removing area where drying of the objects to be thermally treated and/or removal of binder are carried out and a firing area where the objects to be thermally treated is fired in succession from inlet side towards outlet side of the furnace, the objects to be thermally treated being subjected to drying and/or removal of binder while being transported through the drying and binder-removing area and thereafter being fired while being transported through the firing area, wherein the heat treatment furnace has at least two transporting mechanisms disposed along the transporting direction of the objects to be thermally treated as transporting mechanisms for transporting the objects to be thermally treated, the objects to be thermally treated are transported by different transporting mechanisms in the drying and binder-removing area and the firing area, respectively, and the transporting speed of each transporting mechanism is set so that the transporting speed in the drying and binder-removing area and the transporting speed in the firing area differ from each other.
Abstract:
A relay driving apparatus has a control circuit, which supplies a first voltage to a relay coil in response to a relay driving signal to turn on a relay contact, and thereafter a second voltage lower than the first voltage to the relay coil to keep an ON state of the relay contact. The apparatus also has a detection circuit, which is connected in a coil current supply path and detects a state change of the relay contact to an OFF state from the ON state based on a current change in the coil current. The control circuit supplies the first voltage again to the relay coil in response to the state change detected by the detection circuit to restore the ON state.
Abstract:
A memory card is disclosed which has a card body (2) having a concavity (9) formed at the forward end thereof in the inserting direction and in which terminals (5) are disposed and projections (10) are formed between the terminals (5) to prevent the terminals (5) from being touched or accessed from outside. A receptacle for the memory card is also disclosed. The memory card has a simple structure designed to positively protect the terminals and easily let out dust or the like from inside, thereby permitting to assure a positive connection with the receptacle.

Abstract:
A connector apparatus for interconnecting at least two electronic apparatuses, such as a personal computer and a printer, interconnects input/output units of the equipment each having a light emitting element and a light receiving element. The connector apparatus enables data transmission/reception between the equipment. The connector apparatus includes at least two optical fibers and a pair of connecting units. The connecting units include a pair of connecting portions for holding both ends of the optical fibers. Each connecting portion has a magnet portion for attracting by the equipment and a limiting portion for limiting the rotational position at the time of connection to the equipment. With the ends of the optical fibers connected by the connecting portions to the electronic equipment, the ends of the optical fibers are held in the state of enabling data transmission/reception with the input/output units of the equipment.
Abstract:
A tape cassette include a housing and a pair of reels for rotation and translation in the housing so that the reels can assume either of first and second relative positions. A recording tape is wound on the reels and extends therebetween for transport from one of the reels to the other. The housing is formed with an opening through which a transducer can gain access to the recording tape for recording or reproducing signals on or from the recording tape. The reels in the first relative position conform to a first arrangement of a drive for driving the reels in rotation and afford a predetermined amount of space for accommodating a transducer within the housing for access to the recording tape and in the second relative position conform to a second arrangement of a drive for driving the reels in rotation and afford an additional amount of space for accommodating the transducer within the housing for access to the recording tape.
Abstract:
A coated film drying furnace for drying a coated film inside a furnace body by conveying the coated film therein, the coated film having an absorption spectrum for electromagnetic waves of 3.5 μm or less and having hydrogen bonds, such as an electrode coated film for lithium ion battery. Infrared heaters provided inside a furnace body have outer circumferences of filaments concentrically covered by tubes that function as a low pass filter, and have a structure in which a fluid flow passage is formed at 16 between the plurality of tubes. Due to this, a temperature rise in the furnace is controlled so as to prevent explosion of an organic solvent vapor, and the coated film is efficiently heated and dried by intensively radiating near infrared rays of 3.5 μm or less that have superior ability to cut off the intermolecular hydrogen bonds onto a work.
