    摘要: A locking device is adapted for locking a disk drive module inside a computer housing. The computer housing confines an open-ended receiving space that receives slidably and removably the disk drive module therein. The computer housing has a bottom wall and an upright side wall that extends upwardly from the bottom wall and that borders the receiving space. The side wall is formed with a latch hole for access to the receiving space. The disk drive module has a casing that is formed a latch groove. The locking device includes a latch member, a resilient metal wire strip and a positioning unit. The latch member has a locking end portion and a connecting end portion, is adapted to be disposed on top of the bottom wall, and is movable between a locking position, where the locking end portion is adapted to extend through the latch hole and into the latch groove, and a releasing position, where the locking end portion is extracted from the latch groove. The wire strip has opposite arm portions and an intermediate portion connected to the connecting end portion of the latch member. The positioning unit is adapted to be provided on the bottom wall of the computer housing and abuts against the arm portions of the wire strip so as to enable the wire strip to bias the latch member to the locking position.

    摘要: A cover device is adapted to provide electromagnetic interference shielding to an electronic component that is received inside a housing of an electrical appliance. The housing is formed with an access opening to permit access to the electronic component inside the housing. The cover device includes an outer dielectric cover plate adapted to be mounted on the housing so as to cover the access opening, and an inner conductive member. The inner conductive member includes a conductive plate, a plurality of conductive spring pieces and a conductive connecting unit. The conductive plate is mounted on an inner surface of the cover plate. The conductive spring pieces are disposed on at least one edge of the conductive plate, and are spaced apart from each other. Each of the spring pieces has opposite first and second end portions. The first end portions of the spring pieces are connected to the conductive plate. The conductive connecting unit interconnects the second end portions of the spring pieces.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display panel structure in which each of two insertion strips has a fixing face and sliding face. The sliding face is slidably fitted with an insertion section of a casing. After a liquid crystal display face fixed with the insertion strips is placed into the casing, the sliding faces of the insertion strips coincide with the insertion sections. After the display face is slid toward one end of the casing, the sliding faces are inserted into clearances defined by the insertion sections. The insertion sections of the casing further include at feast one locating post. The insertion strip is formed with a locating hole corresponding to the locating post, whereby the display face can be more easily and quickly assembled to the casing.

    摘要: An engaging and outward pushing mechanism for expansion module/cell of portable computer is disclosed. The mechanism includes at least one pushing member pivotally disposed in the portable computer base adjacent to a chamber of the base. The chamber is for receiving the expansion module or the cell. The pushing member is composed of an engaging section and a pushing section fitted with each other. When a user desires to push the expansion module/cell into the base, the engaging section of the pushing member is pushed away from the pushing section for smoothly placing the expansion module/cell into the base. Reversely, when the user desires to take the expansion module/cell out of the base, first the engaging section of the pushing member is pushed away from the pushing section and then the engaging section is outward rotated away from the base so as to push the expansion module/cell out of the base in a quite strength-saving manner.

    摘要: An insertion device for the hard disk drive of a portable computer is fixedly disposed in a base of the portable computer and includes hinged-together upper and lower covers for receiving the hard disk drive. The insertion device is secured to the base by adhesion to facilitate the procedure for assembling the insertion device to the base. The hard disk drive is inserted into the insertion device and the covers closed to secure the hard disk drive in the base. The hard disk drive can easily be taken out by pivoting the upper cover away from the lower cover and using a pulling member to remove the hard disk drive from the insertion member. The insertion device, which may be made of a relatively soft material, effectively minimizes shock forces and protects the hard disk drive from being damaged.
