Abstract: In an aspect, a collapsing foot-deck-based vehicle is provided and includes a foot deck, at least two wheels coupled to the foot deck, and a handle structure coupled to the foot deck via a locking pivot joint. The handle structure includes at least one handle. The locking pivot joint has a pivot axis that is generally unparallel with a horizontal plane defined by the lowermost surfaces of the at least two wheels. The handle structure is selectively pivotable via the locking pivot joint between a riding configuration in which the handle is generally distal from the foot deck for gripping by a rider of the foot-deck-based vehicle, and a collapsed configuration in which the handle is generally proximal to the foot deck.

Abstract: In a first aspect, a wearable device is provided for mounting to a foot of a user. The wearable device includes a support structure having a longitudinal axis, and having an interior. The support structure is positioned to support a foot of a user, wherein the support structure has a ground engagement surface. The wearable device further includes a first wheel shaft having a first wheel connected thereto, and a second wheel shaft having a second wheel connected thereto. The first and second wheel shafts are connected to the support structure and are movable between a stowage position in which the first and second wheel shafts hold the first and second wheels above the ground engagement surface and a rolling position in which the first and second wheel shaft hold the first and second wheels below the ground engagement surface. In both the stowage and rolling positions, the first and second wheels are laterally outside of the interior of the support structure.

Abstract: A foot-deck-based vehicle having an adjustable steering characteristic is provided. The foot-deck-based vehicle has a foot-deck with a front end, a rear end, and at least one rear wheel proximal to the rear end. A front wheel assembly is coupled to the foot-deck proximal to the front end to pivot relative to the foot-deck about a front wheel assembly pivot axis that is at an acute angle to a vertical axis when the foot-deck-based vehicle is upright. Abstract: In an aspect, there is provided a foot-deck-based vehicle which includes a foot deck, wheels, a handlebar structure including a handle and a handlebar stem, a joint connecting the handlebar stem and the foot deck, a first release member and a second release member. The joint permits the handlebar structure to move between a use position and a storage position.
