A top of a convertible vehicle includes a top linkage. A linkage mechanism forming part of the top linkage is on each of two opposing sides of the top linkage with respect to a vertical longitudinal center plane of the top. Each linkage mechanism includes a main multi joint mechanism pivotably mounted on a vehicle-fixed main bearing, a middle roof link, a forward roof link pivotably connected to the middle roof link, and a rear roof link pivotably connected to the middle roof link. The forward roof link and the rear roof link are pivotable together in relation to the middle roof link by a coupling rod, and the main multi joint mechanism is driven by a main drive. The forward roof link and the rear roof link are driven by the main drive via a coupling device so as to pivot in relation to the middle roof link.

A top of a convertible vehicle includes at least one top element displaceable between a closed position and a storage position. Each of two side portions accommodates a closing system fixing the relevant side portion to a front apron of the vehicle or to a further top element. The closing systems are displaceable between a blocked position and a cleared position. Each closing system includes a locking hook, which interacts with a corresponding locking element and which is pivotable about a hook axis, and a drive unit, which drives a control element pivotable about a pivot axis and mounted at the relevant side portion as well as being connected to the locking hook via a coupling unit. The pivot axis of the control element and the hook axis are oriented with respect to each other in a skew fashion and the coupling unit includes at least one 3-D link.

A motor vehicle is proposed, comprising a vehicle roof, which extends between a front roof edge and a rear roof edge, wherein a tailgate is articulated thereto in the region of the rear roof edge. The tailgate limits a vehicle interior in the rear and is pivotable about an axis that extends in the transverse direction of the roof. A displaceable rear window covers a window cut-out of the tailgate in a closed position and which at least partially clears the window out-out in an open position. The rear window, when being displaced from the closed position into the open position, is shifted to a position under the vehicle roof.

An actuating device for an adjustable convertible top system of a motor vehicle includes at least two hydraulic drive cylinders. A first drive cylinder transmits an adjustment movement to a first gearing arrangement, and a second drive cylinder transmits the adjustment movement to a second gearing arrangement. The first drive cylinder and the second drive cylinder are connected hydraulically in series, such that an annular volume of the first drive cylinder is in fluid communication with a circular volume of the second drive cylinder via a connecting line. There is a difference between an annular area of the first drive cylinder forming the annular volume and a circular area of the second drive cylinder forming the circular volume. Intermediate gears having a different geometry and/or kinematics compensate for a speed difference between the two drive cylinders resulting from the difference.

A peripheral wall of the sleeve delimits an inner space for receiving a bearing journal of a component. The sleeve includes at least a first, inner catch element securing the bearing journal in the sleeve and a second, outer catch element securing the sleeve in the recess of the carrier device. The link arrangement includes a main link and a main column pivotably mounted on a main bearing, and a front-side first link element and a second link element. The second link element is rearward of the first link element in the closed position and connected to the first link element by a joint arrangement, wherein the first link element being pivotable relative to the second link element by an actuating link extending along the second link element. A knee lever arrangement connected to the first link element, the second link element, and the actuating link includes a closing bolt.
