摘要: Image-based control systems and methods automate the adjustment of medical devices. An image based-control system for an endoscope can include, in addition to the endoscope, a processing system and an actuator. The processing system can receive an image from an image capture device of the endoscope. Based on coordinates of a lumen in the image, the processing system can instruct the actuator to reorient the capture device to direct the capture device toward the lumen. The actuator can be coupled to a manual controller of the endoscope, such that the actuator can reorient the capture device via the manual controller. An image-based control method can include receiving an image from the capture device of the endoscope; identifying coordinates of a lumen in the image; mapping such coordinates to a physical position of the lumen relative to the capture device; and instructing an actuator to adjust an orientation of the endoscope.

摘要: Disclosed are product inspection systems and methods for monitoring, inspecting and controlling baking and cooking processes, and the like. Products are processed in a predetermined manner using a product processor, such as by baking the products, for example. A controller is used to control operation of the product processor. A conveyor moves or conveys processed products past inspection apparatus. The inspection apparatus comprises an image acquisition system for generating images of products conveyed by the conveyor past the inspection apparatus. One or more illumination devices illuminate products on the conveyor. An inspection processor processes images generated by the image acquisition system to inspect the conveyed products. The inspection processor determines locations of conveyed products by processing image data corresponding to the image frames, and classifies each of the located products to indicate if the products are acceptable or are defective. A kickoff device is coupled to the inspection processor for removing product from the conveyor. The inspection processor controls the kickoff device to remove the defective products.

摘要: A load body for a pick-up truck which comprises: a pair of spaced inner vertically extending side walls affixed to lateral edges of a load bed; respective outer side wall assemblies connected to the respective said inner side walls, with each assembly including a top horizontally extending rail and a rear end wall portion, and being spaced from said associated inner side wall to form a space there between. A compartment is formed on the outer surface of at least one of said inner side walls by outwardly extending front and rear end walls and a bottom wall attached to the at least one outer surface. A hinge pivotally connects an inner edge of the top rail of the outer side wall assembly associated with the at least one inner side wall to an upper edge of the associated inner side wall so that the outer side wall assembly is pivotable between a lowered position, wherein said compartment is closed by the outer side wall assembly with said rear end wall of said outer side wall assembly covering the rear end wall of the compartment, and a raised position of the outer side wall assembly, wherein the compartment is open and accessible. A controllable device is provided for locking each pivotably connected outer side wall assembly when in the lowered position.

摘要: A method for inspecting the packaging of a packaged product is presented wherein the packaged product includes a tray and a film enwrapping a product carried on the tray forming a packaging. The method includes providing a tray and providing a packaging film material which contains an additive for producing a high contrasting image under non-visible light when compared to the tray. The additive does not affect the spectral properties of the packaging film material in visible light. The tray and transparent film are illuminated with a non-visible light. The contrasting image of the tray and transparent film is viewed for determining the presence and configuration of the packaging. The configuration of the packaging is analyzed based upon a predetermined expected packaging profile and it is determined if the packaging is substantially similar to the predetermined expected packaging profile constituting an acceptable packaging.
