摘要： A self contained engine driven electrical generator having two easily separable major components. The first is a support section which includes the fuel tank for the generator and structural support means interconnecting portions of the fuel tank. The support section also facilitates mounting the generator to a refrigerated container with which it is adapted to be used. The second section is a power generation section, which includes the engine, the electrical generator and the radiator for cooling the engine, all integrally assembled into an easily removable unit. Other major components of the generator, including a control box, battery, battery charger, air filter, fuel filter, and muffler form integral parts of the power generation section. All mechanical, fuel and electrical connections may be readily disconnected to facilitate removal of the power generation section from the support section.

摘要： A fuel fill pipe shelf for a generator set fuel tank is mounted in the upper end of a tower of the fuel tank. The fuel pipe shelf comprises an insert which is welded into an opening in the upper end of the fuel tank. The insertcupies a volume which otherwise would be part of the interior of the fuel tank. The fuel fill, vent and fuel gage are all supported on the fuel shelf. As a result, the fuel fill, fuel gage and vent are all within a protected recess in the fuel tank.

摘要： A self contained generator set of the type which includes a fuel tank made up of a base section and a pair of vertically extending tower sections. The motor generator assembly is mounted on the base section between the two vertically extending tower sections. A passageway is formed in each of the vertically extending fuel tank sections by communicating openings formed in opposite side walls of each of the fuel tank sections with a pipe section welded thereto. The passageways allow passage of the motor generator assembly's exhaust pipe and the generator's power cable therethrough.

摘要： A U-shaped fuel tank for a self contained generator set of the type adapted to be mounted on a refrigerated container has an integral structural framework. The framework includes an H-shaped structure defined by a horizontal structural plate which serves as a wall of a lower section of the tank as well as the primary support for the motor and generator. Vertically extending structural plates attached to opposite ends of the horizontal plate serve as walls for vertical tank sections as well as structural components and baffles within the interior of the tank.
