Abstract:
A computer program product is tangibly embodied on a computer-readable medium and includes executable code that, when executed, is configured to cause a data processing apparatus to display multiple objects in a single pane, where the multiple objects are visual representations of real objects and the multiple objects are dynamically sized and spaced relative to one another to fit all of the objects in the single pane. The computer program product includes executable code that, when executed, causes the data processing apparatus to display a subset of the objects and associated metadata in an examination frame. The examination frame is sized to fit within the single pane, where the subset of the objects displayed within the examination frame are sized larger than the objects outside of the examination frame.
Abstract:
A mechanism is provided for reassigning virtual machines to resources in a computing environment. Monitoring data is collected about virtual machine request history and resource usage in a form of time series for measured indicators. Forecasted time series are computed for the measured indicators over a time window by utilizing time series forecasting. A new assignment is computed by executing a snapshot based assignment algorithm on the forecasted time series. The new assignment is used for reassignment of virtual machines on the resources in the computing environment.
Abstract:
A method includes performing, on a processor, evaluating log data; determining at least one discrepancy between the log data and a system model; generating a candidate model based on the discrepancy and a model template; and updating the system model based on the candidate model.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an integrated SOFC system powered by natural gas. Specifically, a SOFC-O cell is combined with a SOFC-H cell so as to take advantage of the high operating temperature and steam reforming capabilities of the SOFC-O cell as well as the higher fuel conversion efficiency of the SOFC-H cell.
Abstract:
A system includes a storage medium. The storage medium includes a model generation module that generates a candidate model based on a discrepancy and a model template. The storage medium also includes a model evaluation module that selectively updates a system model based on the candidate model.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for a PCI card includes an enclosure body, a mounting piece and a resisting member. The enclosure body comprises a bottom panel and a rear panel extending from the bottom panel. The mounting piece is used for attaching a first end of the PCI card on the rear panel. The resisting member is pivotally mounted to the enclosure body. The resisting member is rotated about an axis substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel to abut a second end of the PCI card to prevent the PCI card from moving along a direction substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel.
Abstract:
A method for reducing bandwidth used in multiple transmissions on a cellular network includes mapping at least one request of at least one end-device to a unicast channel between server and an intermediary in the network, creating a correlated multicast communication channel between the intermediary and the at least one end-device, and transferring data from the unicast channel to a multicast channel at the intermediary.
Abstract:
A method comprising: performing on a processor, evaluating log data; determining at least one discrepancy between the log data and a system model; generating a candidate model based on the discrepancy and a model template; and updating the system model based on the candidate model.
Abstract:
The present teachings are directed toward methods of producing electrocatalyst compositions of platinum and tungsten through the thermal decomposition of carbonyl-containing complexes of the two metals.
