    摘要: Various “media-components” are provided in a “multi-media center.” In modular architecture, a module-controller communicates with media-modules provided for various media-components. A media-module can include or obtain data pertaining to a particular media-component, identify media-player(s), and access information related to their media. However, the media-modules are isolated from each other, and the module-controller effectively controls output generated in response to user input. A user interface library is provided for the media-modules. Media-modules can obtain a template or other tools from the library and construct their user interface (e.g., menus). Media-modules can also identify a media-player that can be initiated in response to user input. Subsequently, the media-controller forwards user input to the media-player.

    摘要: A method for displaying a color image by providing a color image display apparatus having at least three narrow-band emissive light sources that define a display color gamut. Image data values are accepted that are defined within an original color gamut that is smaller in area than the display color gamut. The input image data values are transformed into display color gamut data values having an expanded image chromaticity range. At least a portion of the expanded chromaticity range lies outside the original color gamut. At least a portion of the display color gamut lies outside the expanded image chromaticity range. The display color gamut data values are provided to the color image display apparatus to form an image.

    摘要: Techniques and systems for intelligent navigation of sequential media content are disclosed. The intelligent navigation is well suited to enable users to better control media playback with regards to a media playback application operating on a computing device. One embodiment of a method for playing sequential media content by a media playback application operating on a computing device includes at least the acts of: initiating playing of the sequential media content by the media playback application; receiving a user input requesting to start playing at a new position in the sequential media content; marking a current position in the sequential media content; thereafter initiating playing of the sequential media content at the new position; receiving a user input requesting to reset playing to the marked current position; and subsequently initiating playing of the sequential media content at the marked current position.

    摘要: In a color image transformation method and system, a photographic color-positive transparency media bearing a captured image is transmission scanned to provide a scanned image. The scanned image has an overall cyan-blue color balance and has grayscale mistracking relative to colorimetric chromaticity. The scanned image is automatically transformed to intermediary color image data encoding values. Both the overall cyan-blue color balance and the mistracking are corrected during the transforming.
