    摘要: Due to the presence of a regulating part in the vicinity of a protrusion of a guide member, a card holding apparatus can prevent large deformation of the protrusion even when an excess pressure force in an insertion direction is applied to the expansion card mounted on the card holding apparatus. Thus, when the subsequent expansion cards are mounted, a guide member can be displaced normally in the insertion direction, and a heart-shaped cam mechanism can be operated normally. Therefore, the expansion card can be removed from the card holding apparatus, using the elastic restoring force of a spring.

    摘要: Provided are a housing and an electronic device that ensure sufficient strength even when reduced in thickness. A carbon fiber layer included in the housing is disposed such that the orientation direction of carbon fibers is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the long sides of a back face panel, thus enabling improving the flexural strength of the back face panel. This enables increases in the number of carbon fibers per unit of area of the back face panel, and enables the length of each carbon fiber to be reduced. Accordingly, it is possible to cause the carbon fibers to flex less readily, thus enabling improving the strength in the flexing direction of the back face panel.

When a shock load is imposed on the cushioning member, the air in the air storage is compressed, and the first plane is deformed by the pressure of the compressed air to form a gap. A part of the compressed air flows out of the air storage through the gap. This structure provides a high shock-cushioning effect.

With this configuration, the electronic apparatus can not only illuminate the input portion but also prevent light from entering the eyes of a user directly, thereby making it possible for the user to perform the input operation properly in a dark place.

    摘要: A temperature sensor has lead lines made of an elastic material each attached to a corresponding one of electrodes on a temperature sensing element such as an NTC thermistor element. The lead lines may each have a non-straight part where they are bent or deformed into a semi-circular shape such that, when these lead lines are inserted into throughholes prepared through a circuit board, the non-straight parts are hooked at the throughholes and the portions of the lead lines above the circuit board will stand up obliquely. Instead of lead lines, a pair of elongated planar lead terminals each with a twisted top end part may be connected to the electrodes such that the top end parts of the pair of lead terminals face each other and can support the temperature sensing element more securely in between.
