摘要： A process cartridge includes an image bearer, a developer bearer, and a positioning member. The image bearer is rotatable. The developer bearer is rotatable and opposite to the image bearer. The positioning member determines an opposing distance between the image bearer and the developer bearer, and includes a fitting portion and a groove. A fitted portion of the image bearer rotatably fits to the fitting portion. The groove extends from a ceiling portion to a bottom portion. A shaft portion of the developer bearer is slidingly movable in the groove. The groove is formed such that the shaft portion of the developer bearer contacts the bottom portion and is supported by the bottom portion. The ceiling portion of the groove is open upward so that the shaft portion of the developer bearer is insertable to and removable from the groove.

摘要： A process cartridge includes an image bearer, a developer bearer, and a positioning member. The image bearer is rotatable. The developer bearer is rotatable and opposite to the image bearer. 摘要： A powder amount detector includes a vibration plate secured to a powder container to contain powder and positioned at a predetermined position in a stationary state, a shaft to rotate inside the powder container, a contact member attached to the shaft, a vibration detector to detect vibration of the vibration plate, and a detection result processor to determine an amount of the powder in the powder container according to a detection result generated by the vibration detector. The contact member is to flip the vibration plate to cause the vibration plate to repeat elastic deformation and reversion to vibrate. The contact member is to exit an area opposed to the vibration plate after the contact member flips the vibration plate by the time the vibration plate returns to the predetermined position.

The memory board includes a positioning opening, a ground terminal provided to the positioning opening, and a contact terminal. The engagement projection includes a uniform diameter portion, a tapered portion extending from the uniform diameter portion, and an apparatus-side ground terminal to contact the ground terminal of the memory board when the engagement projection fits in the positioning opening. The apparatus-side ground terminal includes a portion projecting laterally from the uniform diameter portion from an end of the uniform diameter portion toward a reading member base and an extended portion at the end of the uniform diameter portion, covered with the tapered portion.
