摘要: A stretchable absorbent core (10) includes a stretchable base sheet (20), and a plurality of separate and independent absorbers (30) disposed at least on one side of the base sheet (20). The absorbers (30) are fixed to the base sheet (20) through respective fixing points (33) in such a design that the shape of each absorber is not deformed upon stretch of the base sheet (20). The stretchable absorbent core (10) exhibits stretchability between the fixing points (33). It is preferable that the stretchable absorbent core (10) does not exhibit stretchability at the fixing points (33).

摘要: An absorbent member (10) of the invention has a hydrophilic continuous fiber web (12) and lumpy particles of an absorbent polymer (13) held in the web (12). The absorbent polymer (13) is localized in part in a planar or thickness direction of the absorbent member (10). The continuous fibers in a region (M) in a planar direction of the web (12) where the absorbent polymer is distributed are in a state cut into a large number of staple fibers (122). A method of producing an absorbent member includes the step of spreading lumpy particles of an absorbent polymer (13) on a continuous fiber web (12) and pressing the continuous fibers in part of the web (12) onto the absorbent polymer (13) to cut the continuous fibers.

摘要: An absorbent article (100) includes a topsheet (101), a backsheet (102), and an absorbent core (10). The absorbent core (10) includes a number of discretely and independently arranged absorbent members (30) located across a planar direction of the article (100). An intermediate sheet (20) is disposed between the topsheet (101) and the absorbent core (10) or between the backsheet (102) and the absorbent core (10). The absorbent members (30) are fixed to the intermediate sheet (20). 摘要: An absorbent article 10 has an absorbent member 1. The absorbent member 1 includes a web 2 of hydrophilic continuous fibers and a superabsorbent polymer 3 embeddedly supported in the web 2. The superabsorbent polymer 3 has its particle size varied between the topsheet side and the backsheet side of the web 2, preferably has a larger size in the topsheet side than in the backsheet side of the web 2. The superabsorbent polymer preferably has a rate of liquid permeation of 150 to 1500 g/min under a load of 0.6 kPa. The continuous fibers are preferably crimped fibers with a crimp percentage of 10% to 90%.

摘要: Disclosed is an absorbent article having an absorbent member. The absorbent member has an absorbent core wrapped in a sheet of a fibrous material. The absorbent core contains a web of hydrophilic, crimped continuous fibers and a superabsorbent polymer which is embeddedly supported in the web. The continuous fibers are preferably oriented in the planar direction of the absorbent member. Also disclosed is an absorbent article having an absorbent member, in which a web of hydrophilic, crimped continuous fibers and a fiber accumulated layer or a nonwoven fabric are superposed on each other. The fiber accumulated layer and the nonwoven fabric are made of natural pulp and/or synthetic fibers and may or may not contain a superabsorbent polymer. The continuous fibers are oriented in the planar direction of the absorbent member.
