摘要: In a vehicle wherein a functional part arranged in a body cover is supported by a body frame and a lid which makes it possible to lock a closed state covering the functional part can be openably fitted to the body cover in a position matching the functional part. Thus, the risk of undesirable tampering with the unlocking member is to be minimized and the risk for the unlocking member to be influenced by external disturbance such as unfavorable weather is to be avoided as far as possible. A cover member in which a lid is arranged in a secluded position is openably disposed on a body cover, and an unlocking member for releasing the lid from the locked state is disposed on the body cover so as to be covered by a cover member in a closed state.

摘要: An engine suspension device for a motorcycle can be increased in design flexibility and weight. An engine suspension device for a motorcycle has a suspension link provided between a body frame and an engine for pivotably supporting the engine. The suspension link includes a link body. Two pairs of right and left cylindrical members are provided at opposite ends of the link body and are connected to the body frame and the engine, respectively. The pairs of right and left cylindrical members are spaced apart from each other in the lateral direction of the motorcycle. The suspension link further includes a right connecting member for connecting the right cylindrical members and a left connecting member for connecting the left connecting members. The right and left connecting members are connected to each other by the link body.

Accordingly, the meter unit can be accommodated in a limited space in front of a handle post cover and behind the load receiving pipe, and the probability that a load on the load receiving pipe comes into contact with the meter unit can be avoided. Therefore, the appearance of the front portion of a vehicle body can be improved while improving the load receiving capacity at the front of the vehicle body.

摘要: A frame assembly for a motorized vehicle includes a vehicle body frame with an upper frame, a lower basket frame integrally attached to and extending downwardly from the upper frame, and an auxiliary frame which is separate from and operatively attached to the vehicle body frame. The upper frame includes a head pipe, a tubular main frame section attached to the head pipe, a pair of seat rails extending rearwardly in a divergent fashion from the main frame section, and a rear crossbar interconnecting the seat rails at rear portions thereof. The lower basket frame comprises left and right down tubes extending downwardly in a divergent fashion from the head pipe, a pair of left and right lower pipes extending rearwardly from lower ends of the respective down tubes, and a pair of medial frame sections extending between rear ends of the lower pipes and the seat rails. The auxiliary frame has a width substantially equal to a distance between the left and right lower pipes.

摘要: To provide a rear shock absorber arrangement structure for a motorcycle having no limitation on the arrangement flexibility and shape of a storage chamber. In a rear shock absorber arrangement structure for a motorcycle, including a unit swing type power unit U swingably connected to a body frame F and rotatably supporting a rear wheel WR, a rear shock absorber suspends the power unit from the body frame F. A storage chamber is disposed above the rear wheel WR. A lower end of the rear shock absorber is brought into connection at a position lower than the wheel-axle O provided in the power unit U as viewed from the side of the vehicle. An upper end of the rear shock absorber is connected to a portion lower than the storage chamber and near a bottom portion of the storage chamber.

摘要: A motorcycle having a loading space for stably loading luggage. Luggage may be loaded onto a rear loading space with the luggage being fixed by fastening a rope to a grab rail. A seat back is provided that also functions as a passenger seat. When only one person rides, luggage can be loaded onto the rear space and can be fastened by hanging the luggage on a hook directly or indirectly using the rope. As the hook disappears when a seat back that also functions as a passenger seat is positioned to be substantially horizontal, the appearance quality is not damaged. Therefore, luggage can be stably loaded and a larger quantity of luggage can be carried by the motorcycle. Left and right slider are provided for permitting free longitudinal movement of the seat from a substantially horizontal position to a raised position.

摘要: A scooter type vehicle such as a motorcycle includes a fuel tank disposed between a pair of left and right side frames extending in the fore-and-aft direction. The fuel tank is covered by an undercover on its under side and by a footrest plate on its upper side. The undercover is inserted between the left and right side frames from above. Edges of the undercover are placed on the left and right side frames, and the fuel tank is stored in a storage recess on the undercover from above. Edges of the fuel tank are placed on the edges of the undercover, and the footrest plate is placed on the edges of the fuel tank. The left and right side frames can then support the undercover, the fuel tank, and the footrest plate with the present invention.
