摘要： A data request from a requesting device is received at a network of wireless sensor nodes. The data request is then forwarded through the network of wireless sensor nodes to a source wireless sensor node, where data responsive to the data request is generated. A reply including the responsive data is then forwarded along at least two communication paths through the network of wireless sensor nodes back to the requesting device.

摘要： Lender anonymity securities lending where trade criteria associated with a security owned by a client are determined. Bids for the security are monitored by a first entity. A trade related to the security is executed by accepting a best bid from the monitored bids based on the trade criteria. An identical trade related to the security is automatically executed with a second entity. A second identical trade as the trade related to the security is automatically executed with inter-dealer brokers without any knowledge of the first entity. The first entity may be a banking division of a financial institution and the second entity may be a broker/dealer division of a financial institution. Complete anonymity is provided to the client from the inter-dealer brokers since the trade executed automatically with the second entity is put into a separate trading book maintaining a firewall between the client and the inter-dealer brokers.

摘要： Data carriers (such as RFID tags) are formed into clusters of data carriers. Each cluster has at least one bridge data carrier that can communicate with a bridge data carrier of another cluster, thereby allowing data carriers in each cluster to communicate directly or indirectly with each other using a stochastic communication protocol method. Direct tag-to-tag communication capability is provided between data carriers in each cluster and/or between clusters. The data carriers can backscatter and modulate a carrier wave from a source, thereby using the backscattered and modulated carrier wave to convey data to each other.

摘要： Method and apparatus for reprogramming a programmable product, such as, a printer, a wireless communication device, or a portable computer. A software programmable product that includes memory for storing product operation information and a method for configuring the software programmable products is provided. Software is configurable by data stored on an RFID tag. Data stored on the RFID is transferred reprogramming circuitry of the production which sets the configurable operating parameters. This configures the products features and options as desired by the specific user without requiring an external programming device or destructive entering into the packages or internals of the product. An RFID located in an electronic product, within or upon its packaging, or on an accessory may be loaded with reprogramming data such as media configuration data or usage data. The RFID reader may be located on a kiosk.

摘要： A system for managing drainage of heat pump coil condensate using a building's legacy heat piping infrastructure. The system includes a drainage pan that accumulates condensate and directs it into condensate piping. 摘要： A method and apparatus use an in-line printer to print on chips or swatches mounted on an underlying substrate such as a sheet or web of paper or paperboard. The chips may have varying heights due to variations of thickness of the paint on the chip and/or adhesive mounting the chips to the substrate. The sheets are continuously moving through the chip mounting machine and the printing machine which are synchronized to operate at the same speed. In the illustrated apparatus, conveyor pushers push the sheets through the chip mounting machine and through the printer machine and resilient strips on the printing roller form a nip with an underlying anvil roller to grip and hold the chips against shifting to prevent smearing of the ink as the sheets are pushed through the nip between the printing cylinder and the anvil roller. An in-line trimming apparatus such as die cutter may cut the chips to size and/or shape as to provide rectangularly mounted chips with arcs, curves, circles, etc. The trimmed scrap from a trimmed chip is removed by a vacuum conveying system. In the illustrated apparatus, an in-line folder may fold the printed chip bearing sheets to complete the illustrated in-line apparatus and method.
