摘要： An ammunition cartridge casing has a casing base with a proximal end surface, a casing body defining an inside volume, and a distal end portion. The casing base defines a primer pocket in communication with the inside volume of the casing body, where the primer pocket is sized and configured such that when a primer is installed in the primer pocket, a proximal face of the primer is recessed into the base at least 0.010″ with respect to the end surface. Blank ammunition made with the cartridge casing is configured for use with a rifle having a bolt with a boss on the breech face that corresponds to the recessed primer.

摘要： A method of pairing a device and a single one of two or more potential pairing devices includes first setting the device in a seek mode and scanning for the potential pairing devices. A list is stored in the device that includes any potential pairing devices discovered while in the seek mode. The list is stored in a sequential order based on a signal strength between the device and each of the discovered potential pairing devices. Then the device determines whether any of the potential pairing devices in the list are set in a predetermined mode, and pairs with the one of the potential pairing devices in the predetermined mode that has the highest signal strength.

摘要： A two-piece firearm projectile includes a jacket and a penetrator. The proximal end portion of the penetrator is received in and mates with a corresponding recess defined in the inside surface of the jacket. A three-piece projectile includes a jacket, a slug, and a penetrator. The slug and at least part of the penetrator are encased by the jacket, where the slug is positioned between the base of the jacket and the proximal end of the penetrator. The proximal end of the penetrator overlaps axially and mates with the distal end of the slug. In one example, a frustoconical end of the penetrator is received in and mates with a frustoconical recess in the distal end of the slug or the jacket as the case may be.

摘要： A handgun trigger has a trigger body configured for pivotable or rotatable movement when installed in a handgun. A trigger shoe is removably attached or attachable to the trigger body and defines a user interface for firing the handgun. The trigger shoe can be made of polymeric material and can be attached to the trigger body using a snap fit. For example, the trigger shoe snaps over rear-facing surfaces of the trigger body when installed. Also disclosed is a takedown lever assembly for a semiautomatic handgun, where the takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position. In the takedown position the takedown actuation lever permits removal of the slide from the frame. In the takedown position the trigger is blocked from rotating to the pulled trigger position.

摘要： An assembly is configured for retaining a muzzle accessory mounted on a firearm barrel or to a muzzle adapter on the barrel, where the muzzle accessory has a mount with female threads on an inside and male threads on an outside of the mount. When assembled, the mount is threaded onto the muzzle adapter and the locking nut is threaded onto the accessory mount with the locking ring engaging the bearing surface of the muzzle adapter and the inside taper of the locking nut.
