    摘要: A process is provided for producing a polyurethane foam having a high-density skin layer by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in a short time. The reaction is allowed to proceed in the presence of a blowing agent, a catalyst, and optionally an additive, the blowing agent being composed only of water, and the catalyst being an amine represented by formula (I) below and/or an organic acid salt thereof: ##STR1## where R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are, independently, an alkyl group of 1 to 12 carbons, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, and/or R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be linked to form a cycloalkyl or heterocyclic ring together with the adjacent nitrogen atom; and R.sub.5 is hydrogen, an alkyl group of 1 to 12 carbons, a phenyl group, or a cycloalkyl group. This process does not use halogenated hydrocarbons which cause ozone layer destruction.

    摘要: An amine catalyst for producing polyurethane comprising a compound of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein n is an integer from 0 to 3, and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are each independently a C.sub.1-3 alkyl group. The amine catalyst has a secondary hydroxyl group in the molecule and is non-bleeding in the polyurethane resin and excellent in moldability. A process for producing a polyurethane foam by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of the amine catalyst defined above and a foaming agent are also disclosed.

    摘要: An amine catalyst for production of a polyurethane and a polyisocyanurate is provided which comprises a quaternary ammonium compound represented by General Formula (1): where R1 to R6 are independently a linear or branched saturated hydrocarbon group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R7 and R8 are independently a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group of 2 to 12 carbon atoms; n is a number of 0 to 3, provided that at n=0 any one of R1, R2 and R3, and R5 and/or R6 may be linked together to form a heterocycle, or at n=1, 2, or 3, R5 or R6 and R4 may be linked together to form a heterocycle; A is a carbonate group or an organic acid group; and X is number of 1 to 2. The catalyst has high activity in formation of polyurethane foams and polyisocyanurate foams, having less odor, and producing foams of high fire retardance, having high curability, high retarding effect, and low corrosiveness.

    摘要: A process for producing a flexible or rigid polyurethane foam is provided in which a polyol and a polyisocyante are reacted in the presence of an amine catalyst, a blowing agent, and a foam stabilizer, the amine catalyst comprising at least one amine compound represented by General Formula (1) below: ##STR1## where R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are respectively an alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbons independently; n is an integer of 0 or 1; and A is an alkyl group of 11 to 14 carbons when n is 0, or an alkylene group of 10 to 15 carbons when n is 1. The amine catalyst has low odor and low volatility, and gives high curing rate, and excellent moldability with a formulation of reduced fluorocarbon and increased water as the blowing agent.
