Abstract:
A new cultivar of Hydrangea quercifolia plant named ‘Snowcicle’ that is characterized by its inflorescences with sterile flowers comprised of numerous sepals (double) that open white and mature to a blend of rose-red, off white, and olive green, its large inflorescences that are pendulous but well supported by its upright habit with strong stems, and its fall foliage color that is deep wine and burnt orange in color.
Abstract:
Machine tools and methods for machining turbine rotor assemblies are disclosed. Some machine tools include a drill arm that pushes off of a turbine stage that is adjacent to a turbine stage to be machined. Some machine tools include a clamping arm that secures the machine tool to a turbine stage to be machined and an adjacent turbine stage. Some methods include pushing-off of a turbine stage that is adjacent to a turbine stage to be machined. Some methods include securing a machine tool to a turbine stage that is adjacent to a turbine stage to be machined. Some methods include monitoring at least one of a current delivered to a first motor and a voltage applied to the first motor and controlling a second motor in response to the monitoring. Some methods include sequentially machining a turbine stage with cutting tools having increasing lengths and/or diameters.
Abstract:
A prosthesis is disclosed for placement at an Os opening from a main body lumen to a branch body lumen. The prosthesis comprises a radially expansible support at one end, a circumferentially extending link at the other end and at least one frond extending axially therebetween. The support is configured to be deployed in the branch body lumen, with the circumferentially extending link in the main lumen and the frond extendable across the Os.
Abstract:
A prosthesis is disclosed for placement across an ostium opening from a main body lumen to a branch body lumen. The prosthesis comprises a radially expansible support, at least two axially elongate longitudinal members, at least one of which can be fronds, extending from an end of the support, and a circumferential member connected to at least one axially elongate longitudinal member and unconnected to at least one other axially elongate longitudinal member.
Abstract:
A graft caliper provides for a first member having a first pick at its distal end and its proximal end attached to a handle. A second member of the graft caliper is disposed above the first member and has a second pick at its distal end that extends beyond the first pick. The proximal end of the second member is attached to an adjuster which causes the second member to move from a first position to a second position in order to change a distance the second pick extends beyond the first pick. The graft caliper provides for an indication of at least one metric for describing the distance the second pick extends beyond the first pick and places an identifier on a surface of bone representing the location of a tunnel to be formed through a femur, tibia or any other anatomical structure.

Abstract:
Carrying cases are disclosed that include a tray for audio, computer, and/or video components. The tray can include a tray base member coupled to the case and a tray shelf that is movably coupled to the tray base member and configured to support a laptop or other audio, computer, or video component thereon. The tray shelf can be rotatable about a base axis defined by the tray base member, movable axially along the base axis, and/or rotatable about a tilt axis. In some embodiments, the tray base member can be secured to the case so that the base axis is generally stationary with respect to the case. The base axis can intersect the tray shelf, the top surface of the case, and/or the bottom surface of the case. In some embodiments, a hole can be positioned in a generally central portion of the tray shelf.
Abstract:
An automated system for identifying in a biological sample microorganisms and their antimicrobial susceptibility (AST). The system provided an automated platform for preparing, from a single biological sample, inoculates for both ID and AST. The system loads a plate for ID testing as samples are being prepared for AST testing. The system tracks the sample and the inoculates from the samples to link the test results to the sample and the patients from whom the sample was obtained.
Abstract:
A fuel manifold for a gas turbine engine comprises manifold adaptors each supporting a nozzle for outputting fuel from a fuel supply. The manifold adaptors have a primary conduit and a secondary conduit extending between connection ends of the manifold adaptor. The primary conduit and the secondary conduit are in fluid communication with the nozzle to supply fuel thereto. Transfer units are between adjacent manifold adaptors, and each comprises a primary transfer tube matingly connected at opposite ends to the primary conduits of the adjacent manifold adaptors for fuel circulation between the primary conduits. A secondary transfer tube in each transfer unit is matingly connected at opposite ends to the secondary conduits of the adjacent manifold adaptors for fuel circulation between the secondary conduits. A drain sleeve in each transfer unit is connected at opposite ends to the adjacent manifold adaptors.
