Abstract: An insulation clip which is used to retain insulation in place before materials are placed over the insulation during the construction of a wall assembly. The clip is configured to be snapped onto either a horizontally disposed girt or a vertically disposed girt. The clip not only maintains the insulation in place but creates a gap between the outer side of the insulation and the cladding which is placed thereon.
