摘要: The present invention relates to a riser joint for a riser with a joint connecting two parts of a riser where the two parts are allowed angular displacement. According to the invention the riser joint comprises means for connection to the two parts of the riser at a distance from the joint, and means for adding a force between the two parts. The invention also relates to a method for reducing bending moments in a riser at a connection between the riser and a subsea installation.

摘要: The present invention regards a joint for use in a riser (1) extending between a floating installation (3) and a subsea installation (2). The joint comprises an inner pipe segment (21) and an outer pipe segments (22), arranged moveable relative each other in an axial direction and connectable to respective riser segments, forming a chamber (23) between them with a radially extending piston (24), dividing the chamber (23) in a first chamber part (25) and a second chamber part (26), wherein on of said chamber parts (25) in an initial position of the joint is adapted to contain a mainly incompressible fluid, this chamber part (25) decreasing in volume as the inner pipe segment (21) is moved relatively out of the outer pipe segment (22). According to the invention the joint is configured with a fluid line connection (30) from said one chamber part (25) to the other chamber part (26), configured such that the relative movement of the pipe segments (21, 22) is controlled by the allowed flow rate of a fluid flowing out of the chamber part (25) through the fluid line connection (30) to the other chamber part (26).

摘要: An injector (1) for injecting a traceable material into an oil and/or gas reservoir is lowered down into a bore hole that is in communication with the reservoir. An electro-hydraulic system is activated to inject a traceable material stored in a container into the reservoir. The injector is provided with a gland plate (7) that seals a space between the injector and the wall of the bore hole (16) in a manner that prevents traceable material from being distributed in the bore hole, but secures direct injection of the material into the reservoir. The injector is adapted to be positioned at a specific depth level in the bore hole, and to be cleaned by pressurized liquid after the injection operation is completed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heave compensator for a riser, particularly a working riser (9), comprising a telescopic connection (10) with a first chamber (60) which is in fluid connection with the interior of the riser and a second chamber (62) which is connected with a source of pressure fluid. By varying the pressure in the second chamber in response to the movements of the platform, the telescopic connection can be arranged to move in correspondence with the platform's movements, thereby permitting access to the riser during working operations.
