摘要： Provided is a device (10) for dispensing a dental substance. The device (10) comprises a cartridge (11) for containing the dental substance. The cartridge (11) has a plunger (20), and a dispensing opening (13). Further the device (10) is operable to urge the dental substance toward the dispensing opening (13). The device further comprises a cutter (31) for cutting off a portion of the dental substance which protrudes over the dispensing opening (13). The device may particularly facilitate precise dispensation of a high viscosity dental substance.

摘要： A composite membrane comprises a porous carrier membrane (A) and a fluorine-containing permselective layer (C) which is a copolymer and has a thickness of 10 to 500 nm. The copolymer of layer (C) comprisesa) 10 to 80 mol % of monomer units of a vinyl ester of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are hydrogen, alkyl radicals, cycloalkyl radicals or aryl radicals, and these radicals together have at least 5 and not more than 30 carbon atoms,b1) 5 to 50 mol % of monomer units of a vinyl alcohol of the formula (II) ##STR2## in which R.sup.4 is the hydroxyl group and up to 10% of the groups R.sup.4 can be replaced by radicals of the formula OCOR.sup.5, in which R.sup.5 is methyl, ethyl or propyl, orb2) 5 to 50 mol % of monomer units of the formula (III) ##STR3## in which R.sup.6 is a straight-chain or branched alkylene radical having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, andc) at least 10 mol % of a fluoroolefin, the chains containing hydroxyl groups being crosslinked with one another, in particular by multifunctional isocyanates. The membrane can be employed, inter alia, for gas separation and pervaporation.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for the automated production of dental workpieces. A blank is inserted in a substantially slab-shaped support of the device, said support being dimensioned such that the blank does not extend beyond it in any direction. The blank is linked with corresponding inner walls of a recess provided in the support only on two opposite faces while a gap is left between the other inner walls of the recess and the corresponding faces of the blank. The inventive design allows to avoid tensions and microcracks of the blank material thereby caused. The gaps further make the blank directly accessible for a lateral working by the milling tool.

摘要： To produce a composite membrane, the solution of a polymer in a volatile organic solvent is spread on water, the solvent is allowed to evaporate, the polymer is crosslinked and the polymer film formed is transferred to a porous support membrane. The polymer is preferably a polysiloxane which is cross-linked via polymer-bonded OH groups. The composite membrane is suitable, inter alia, for pervaporation.
