The present invention provides a communication node associated with a wireless network to communicate with a mobile device over a wireless medium across a plurality of mobile communication regions. The communication node comprises an antenna arrangement including a first, a second and a third antenna, wherein the first antenna is primarily associated with a first service coverage area of a first mobile communication region of the plurality of mobile communication regions, the second antenna is primarily associated with a second service coverage area of the first mobile communication region, and the third antenna is primarily associated with a third service coverage area of the first mobile communication region for combining diversity from the first, second and third antennas to fully communicate information to and from at least one of the first, second and third service coverage areas and to partially communicate information to and from at least two of the first, second and third service coverage areas. In one embodiment, a method may adapt a first, a second and a third antenna in a multi-sector antenna arrangement of a base station across cells by combining diversity from the first, second, and third antennas. Such antenna arrangement may reduce installation and alignment costs for a multi-sector antenna while increasing a receive sensitivity and decreasing a transmit power requirement because base station antennas are not deployed in diversity pairs rather are equally distributed.

The seats are ceiling or wall mounted and include a trailing arm which allows for deflection while providing stability. The seat isolates the occupants from the chassis of the vehicle via a pneumatic or other shock absorber and/or a crushable element to provide protection from vertical and horizontal oriented blasts. These seats can also be combined with shock absorbing/isolating foot rests, appendage (leg) restrain systems and an occupant four-point harness to offer a completely integrated system. This integrated system reduces acceleration/deceleration related injuries, shock injuries to the lower legs, flailing injuries to the lower legs and internal collision injuries. Instead of each of the radios receiving signals from diversity antennas in the same sector, each radio receives signals from different sectors. Thus, if one of the radios becomes inoperative; diversity reception is affected in a plurality of sectors rather than service being completely removed from any one sector.

An embodiment of the invention provides a theater having a first screen and a second screen movable relative to the first screen. The first and second screens are typically designed for different movie formats. The second screen is mounted to a frame in sections, and a rotating member is operable to move sections of the second screen away from the first screen. A projection system disposed in front of one of the screens is operable to project screen images alternatively on the first screen or on the second screen. A plurality of speakers are mountable to the frame to provide a sound system.

This invention relates to the field of personnel access control and more particularly, to deployable/stowable fabric-based barriers for controlling or restricting access of individuals to specific physical areas. This allows security personnel at a screening station, for example, to quickly react to an “intruder” who is bypassing the screening area by quickly and safely closing the passageway and/or walkways between a screening area and a sterile area. Recognizing that different facilities and different applications place more emphasis on some design requirements than others, three barrier systems were designed to increase overall suitability for different facilities: Drop Down BCBS, Pop Across BCBS, and Pop Up BCBC.
