The hardware-simulating program can be recorded in any suitable recording medium and defines therein a plurality of simulating elements which are automatically synchronized at intervals by setting specified time points as aligning points. By adjusting an interval between adjacent specified time points, the simulating speed between the adjacent specified time points can be changed to comply with practical requirements.

A portable file-playing control device includes a housing; an input connector common to data input and power input, disposed in and partially exposed from the housing for coupling to a data source in a data-input state and coupling to a power source in a data-output state; a memory disposed in the housing for storing therein data received from the data source via the input connector; and an output connector disposed in and partially exposed from the housing for coupling to a playing apparatus in the data-output state. By storing a plurality of file folders in the portable file-playing control device, one of the file folders can be selected via a command interface to be played by the playing apparatus when the portable file-playing control device is made to communicate with the playing apparatus.

A time coordinate is referred to realize a current time point when accumulated execution time of each of the simulating elements is equal to or greater than a threshold. The operations of the simulating elements are suspended when the current time point lags behind the expected time point, and restarted when the current time point advances to conform to the expected time point, thereby achieving the purpose of synchronization.
