    Abstract: A system and method for fabricating, hauling, and deploying an industrial crane mat constructed from recycled windmill turbine spars. The system and method comprising: removing outer covering from a wind turbine blade with a trimmer, cutting the wind turbine blade into a plurality of uniform boards using a cutter, connecting the plurality of the plurality of uniform boards side by side into two rows of the plurality of uniform boards, using a plurality of rings, wherein the two rows each have a first end and a second end, and wherein the plurality of rings connects a first end of the first row to a second end of the second row together to form a crane mat, bifolding the crane mat onto itself in half along a latitudinal axis of the crane mat using a loader, loading the bifolded crane mat onto a trailer using a line attached to the bifolded crane mat to pull the bifolded crane mat onto the trailer and pulling the bifolded crane mat onto the trailer using a winch.

    Abstract: A compact firearm has a first frame portion including a barrel defining a barrel axis, a second frame portion including a firing mechanism configured to discharge a cartridge residing in a chamber of the barrel, the second frame portion pivotally connected to the first frame portion to pivot about a pivot axis offset from and parallel to the barrel axis, the first frame portion defining a first mating feature formed as a first surface of revolution about the pivot axis, the second frame portion defining a second mating feature formed as a second surface of revolution about the pivot axis, and the first and second mating features mating closely with each other to prevent relative movement between the first and second frame portions except in relative rotation about the pivot axis. The first and second mating features may be dovetail elements.

    Abstract: A compact firearm has a frame including a barrel defining a chamber, the frame being movable between a closed condition in which the firearm is operable to discharge a cartridge in the chamber, and an open condition in which the chamber is open for loading, a latch movable between a latched condition to retain the frame in the closed condition, and an unlatched condition to enable movement of the frame to the open condition, a firing mechanism connected to the frame and operable in response to actuation to discharge the cartridge in the chamber, and a trigger element operably connected to the firing mechanism to selectably actuate the firing mechanism, and operably connected to the latch to move the latch to the unlatched condition. The trigger element may be operable to selectably actuate the firing mechanism in response to movement in a first direction.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for feeding bees is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a fluid tray member, a sheet, and a regulating valve. The fluid tray member is configured to hold a fluid for feeding the bees. The sheet is detachably attached on the fluid tray member via a magnetic strip. The regulating valve attached to the sheet is configured to maintain the level of the fluid. The regulating valve is attached to the sheet via a fastener. The sheet further comprises an inlet tube, a plurality of cavities, and a handle enable a user to position the apparatus to a desired location. The fluid is received via the inlet tube into the fluid tray member. The sheet provides a flat surface around the cavities to support each of the bees while feeding the fluid.

    Abstract: A resin infusion repair device and method for repairing a wooden boat deck having a repair area that includes voids between the planking of the boat deck and the as built surface under the boat deck planking. A vacuum cover provides an airtight cover of the repair area. A vacuum suction line is inserted into the vacuum cover. A vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum suction line and provides vacuum suction at the repair area. A resin supply line is inserted through the vacuum cover. A resin supply source is connected to the resin supply line. The vacuum pump provides a vacuum suction that draws resin from resin supply source through the resin supply line and into the repair area so that the voids are all filled with the resin. In a preferred embodiment, the wooden boat deck is a teak boat deck.
