    摘要: The invention relates to an injection valve (10) for the fuel injection in a internal combustion engine, in particular in a diesel engine. The injection valve (10) has a holder body (20) in which a first passage (30) is formed. At the holder body (20) a nozzle body (40) of an injection nozzle (16) is secured in which a second passage (54) is formed which is connected to the first passage (30) and which together with the latter forms a fuel infeed line for the injection nozzle (16). Moreover, a closure mechanism (60) is provided for the closing off of the injection nozzle (16). A sleeve (74) serves for the sealing off of the connection point between the first and the second passage (30, 54).

    摘要: A fuel injector is provided for supplying fuel to a fuel consuming device. The fuel injector includes a fuel injector fuel inlet for receiving fuel, a fuel injector fuel outlet for dispensing fuel from the fuel injector, an upper valve seat, and a lower valve seat. An armature selectively seats and unseats with the upper valve seat and the lower valve seat. A balancing chamber is in constant fluid communication with the fuel injector fuel inlet and disposed between the upper valve seat and the lower valve seat. Fuel within the balancing chamber acts on the armature to urge the armature away from the upper valve seat and fuel within the balancing chamber acts on the armature to urge the armature toward the lower valve seat, thereby reducing the force to unseat the armature from the upper valve seat and the lower valve seat.

The raised seating surface is defined by at least one wall that continuously surrounds each aperture. Each wall is in continuous fluid communication with the entirety of each wall downstream of the sealing face when the valve is engaged with the valve seat.

    摘要: A fuel injection apparatus for use in an internal combustion engine includes a fuel injector having a valve member which is operable to control injection of fuel through an injector outlet, a first supply path having a first path length for delivering fuel to an injector control chamber, a second supply path having a second path length for delivering fuel to an injector delivery chamber and a control valve for controlling fuel pressure within the injector control chamber so as to control movement of the valve member. An actuation means is arranged to vary at least one of the first and second path lengths in response to one or more injection parameters. Varying the first and/or second path length enables resonant pressure pulses within the control chamber and/or delivery chamber to be optimized so as to minimize the pressure differential across the valve needle at the instant of closure of the control valve to terminate injection, thus reducing needle closure response.
