    摘要： Systems and methods are provided for generating printed samples of a print job. The system receives a print job, and generates samples for the print job according to different sets of printing parameters. The system determines estimates of printing resource usage based on each set of printing parameters, and initiates printing of the samples along with the resource usage estimates. Further, the system receives user input selecting one of the samples, and initiates printing of the print job according to the printing parameters of the selected sample.

Information defining the workflow models and all job information for jobs to be executed are entries in an integrated database such that creation and update of workflow model information and job information is performed as simple database queries and updates.

    摘要： A system, apparatus and method for dictating the order that print jobs received over multiple data channels are printed. A priority value is assigned to each data channel that receives print jobs. The priority value of the data channel is imparted to each of the print jobs received via its respective data channel. The relative priorities of the print jobs is determined, and the print jobs are printed in an order corresponding to their relative priority values.
