摘要： A partition panel includes a partition frame with a planar face having clip-receiving apertures for supporting cover panels and bracket-receiving apertures for supporting furniture components. A pair of cover panels configured to cover the partition frame include side edges that define a gap therebetween for providing access to the bracket-receiving apertures when the cover panels are attached to the partition frame. Clips on the cover panels are constructed to releasably engage the clip-receiving apertures for retaining the cover panels on the partition frame in a coplanar arrangement. The clips each include an antidislodgement tooth for interlockingly engaging a back surface of the face when the clips are engaged with the clip-receiving apertures, and further include a release tab that is depressible to move the tooth to a disengaged position for releasing the clip from the associated clip-receiving aperture. The clips are located at a position spaced away from the gap and behind the cover panels so that the clips are not visible through the gap from a position in front of the cover panels. A flexible strip is attached to one of the cover panels for covering the gap when the cover panels are attached to the partition frame in a coplanar and adjacent position thereon.

摘要： A vertically adjustable desk, table or workstation has a work surface carried between a pair of leg assemblies. The leg assemblies have telescoping sleeves and a ratcheting latch mechanism operatively interconnecting the sleeves. The ratcheting latch mechanism has a toggle preferably in the inner sleeve and a ratchet opening, preferably in the outer sleeve. The opening is defined in part by an edge formed with a series of lateral inclined ratchet slots at which a latch pin on the toggle can set the vertical height. The toggle is spring biased to either of two over-center alignments. Upper and lower edges of the opening respectively toggle the latch mechanism to move the pin out of engagement with the slots at the top limit of travel, and back into engagement with the slots at the bottom limit of travel. The latch pin follows the ratchet slots in progression as the table is raised, and is switched by the top and bottom edge portions to disengage or engage the slots. Gas springs optionally may be included to produce an upward balancing force for supporting the work surface.

摘要： A demountable floor-to-ceiling wall for subdividing a building work space comprises a first core panel including two parallel spaced-apart and substantially identical side faces in mutual horizontal registry. Each core panel has a panel periphery with a top edge, a bottom edge, and at least two side edges and an outwardly facing channel therein. A first core panel is vertically oriented and positioned to be supported by the building floor. A second core panel of substantially identical construction as the first core panel is vertically stacked upon and substantially co-planar with the first core panel. The first and second core panels extend from the floor toward the ceiling and are secured in a generally upright vertical orientation. A panel connector bar is interposed between the first and second core panels. A first portion of the panel connector bar is received by and engaged within the channel at a top portion of the first core panel, and a second portion of the panel connector bar is received by and engaged within the channel at a bottom portion of the second core panel. The panel connector bar maintaining the core panels in a substantially co-planar relationship in a fastenerless fashion.
