摘要： A chenille carpet and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, using a chenille yarn for tufting a base fabric layer (2) to form a carpet layer (1) on one side of the base fabric layer (2), so as to prepare a carpet blank; S2, placing the carpet blank in step S1 into a ball rolling machine for heating, rolling, turning, steam softening treatment and natural cooling; and S3, subjecting the carpet prepared in step S2 to bottom covering processing. The preparation method has the advantages of low water consumption, low energy consumption, being time saving and being environmentally friendly, and the prepared chenille carpet has good fluffiness and fullness.
